Transmedia Storytelling Techniques in Star Wars & The Blair Witch Project.
Recently, creators have been turning to transmedia storytelling as a means to attract and retain viewers across a wide variety of digital channels. In transmedia storytelling, a single story or narrative is told across multiple media forms, each providing a new perspective. These forms of media include movies, books, video games, and social media. Artists use worldbuilding, character growth, and interactivity to keep their audiences interested. By studying established transmedia franchises, we can learn more about the methods that make the storytelling compelling in today's media climate. Two of my favorites are The Blair Witch Project and Star Wars.

5 Reasons Why Visual Novels Struggle as a Medium
I love visual novels. Some of my most beloved stories came from this underused medium. So it saddens me to know that this medium struggles to get a wide audience. In the beginning, I didn’t get why visual novels were not more popular.

How I TRULY Feel Towards The Last of Us TV Show (Is it really that similar to the video game??)
Just like most people back in the year 2013, I was someone who obsessed over The Last of Us. It was my first year of high school and this video game helped me escape from the horrors of those days. I still remember sneaking away from homework just to go play this game all night long (it was totally worth having to rush through the homework minutes before class started). How could I not love this video game? Everything about the game was fantastic; the visuals, the storyline/plot, and the characters (as well as the character arcs and how they each tied into the story). My attachment to this video game was almost like home for me. I felt safe playing the game, or just laying back and watching lets players play the game on youtube (my all-time favorite let's player for the game definitely had to be PewDiePie).

The Last of Us- Why did Joel do That?
I played Naughty Dog's amazing and emotionally fraught video game The Last of Us about 7 years ago and ever since I've been fascinated to watch people's reactions to the unusual direction the story takes in its last act. It will be even more interesting to see how audiences react to the show if it follows the game story closely. For the moment let's just say that characters do things which run counter to pretty much every trope in all narrative media. I've seldom encountered anyone who sees clearly what motivates Joel in particular to behave so "antisocially". Okay, assuming the HBO production sticks closely to the game the spoilers are about to begin- bail now if you don't know where the story's going over the last episodes and don't want to find out till it's happening.
