‘Cinema Paradiso’: What Film Means to Me
Few films capture the theatrical experience as lovingly as Cinema Paradiso. The 1988 Italian film won the Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award and serves as one of the most beautiful love letters to cinema and the wonder it creates in the lives of those who connect to it. There have been countless reviews and essays about Cinema Paradiso that have worded how successful it is in what it sets out to do better than I ever could. But this will not be a standard review beyond me urging any reader who loves film, and/or feels a deep connection to the medium to seek Cinema Paradiso out and allow it to move you. I genuinely cannot imagine anyone who has a love for this art form not being deeply touched by the experience.

The Most Iconic Duo of All Time
The world has a lot of great duos, would you agree? I'd hope so, whether if it's real-life duos or not, they're probably still iconic. You got duos like Abbot and Costello, Batman and Robin, Cheech and Chong, Thelma and Louise, Riggs and Murtaugh, Bonnie and Clyde, Doc and Marty. These duos all have something in common: they're dynamic. However, no duo is more influential than Wyld Stallyns!

The Don of Avon: Scarface Bill Shakespeare
Once the winter of their homeland’s discontent was made glorious summer by treaties and merry meetings, one man (who wasn’t shaped for sportive tricks, nor made to court an amorous looking glass) was determined to prove a villain and hate the idle pleasures of such days. In Shakespeare’s Medieval England, such a man was the hunchbacked King Richard III, and in Howard Hughes’ 1920’s America, it was the mafioso Antonio “Tony” Camonte. The purpose of this essay is to analyze the mythical monster and sociopath that is Shakespeare’s “Richard of Gloucester” and Howard Hughes’ cinematic adaptation of Al Capone (Tony Camonte) to further emphasize how such villainous figures at face value are in fact tragic figures, who fall from grace by means of greed, ambition, and the shedding of blood; and ultimately embrace their appropriate fates by the sword of justice.

John Boyega Pitching an 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Show He Wants to Star In
Avatar: The Last Airbender is not just one of the most beloved animated series of all time, but arguably one of the most beloved TV shows of all time. With wonderful humor, an engaging storyline, pitch-perfect characters, and a nearly flawless collection of episodes, it set the benchmark for what animated television storytelling could be. Some would argue that it has not yet been matched, let alone less exceeded.

Casting Begins on 'Game of Thrones' Spinoff
It is no secret that the ending of, Game of Thrones, one of the best TV shows of all time, was controversial, to say the least. There likely has not been as much astronomical hype for the ending of a TV show than there was for Game of Thrones. With some of the best TV moments of all time such as The Red Wedding, The Battle of the Bastards, and the fate of Ned Stark, some wondered whether the ending could live up to any of the hype the show had created over the course of the preceding eight years.
