If I had to pick any Marvel Cinematic Universe character—including the villains—to have a latte and scone with, Stephen Strange would be between Malekith (Thor 2) and the Hulk…and that’s only because Hulk and I probably wouldn’t have much to talk about, unless he secretly likes Seinfeld.

When you hear about classic comic book characters most people don't consider Archie and his friends in that mix. However, Archie has been around since 1939 and shows no signs of slowing down. Just like other comics Archie has a long and storied history that people connect with. Even the people that don't consider Archie a "real" comic can't deny how influential and far-reaching the brand goes. Archie has been featured in comics, television shows and there are even rumors about a potential Archie Broadway show. Best Fantasy Graphic Novels for Kids
Reading children’s books is fun. Reading children’s graphic novels is even more fun. A major benefit of having kids (or nieces and nephews) is that you get to enjoy all sorts of things that you’re supposedly too old for: eating cotton candy, telling knock-knock jokes, playing Pac-Man, coloring, dressing up for Halloween. What, you already do all those things? Great, then you’ll have absolutely no shame in enjoying all these great fantasy graphic novels for kids. I MEAN, buying them for the kids in your life. Sometimes you just want a break from the intensity of adult books though, you know what I mean? When the sex, violence, and tragedy of Watchmen is getting to be too much for you, pick up one of these and let the childhood nostalgia wash over you as you get lost in a safer, happier world.

The 'Doctor Strange' Controversy: Is Marvel Whitewashing?
With Marvel’s Doctor Strange on the verge of hitting theaters everywhere, the conversation regarding it is only getting louder ---- and, with that, the controversy. Said controversy kicked off the moment the film’s casting was announced, which is when it was revealed that the role of the Ancient One (an elderly Tibetan man in the comics) would be filled by . . . the white British actress Tilda Swinton. Cries of whitewashing were immediately out in full force, especially given the recent protests over Scarlett Johansson’s casting in the upcoming Ghost in the Shell remake. Here in Doctor Strange we have yet another Asian character being played by a white person. Pretty blatant, right?
