Defenders Issue 1-5
With the news that Brian Michael Bendis would be moving from Marvel Comics to DC Comics, I decided I would describe the plot of my favorite series of his. The current run of Defenders will be passed to someone else of course, but Bendis finished at least one volume of the Defenders. This series takes the Netflix superheroes and places them into the street team of "The Defenders." Bendis has had great series, but currently, this has been my favorite series to read. For no spoilers, skip to the last paragraph. It may feel unusual once passed on to another writer, but enough of that and let us get on with issue 1.

Should Superhero Films Better Reflect the Comics?
As a comic book fan, I freely confess that there are few joys greater than seeing my childhood heroes translated on to the big screen. Whether it be the latest incarnation of the Dark Knight, the thrill of seeing the X-Men face off against Apocalypse, or a clash of titans as the Avengers fall apart, these are truly exciting times.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Winter Finale: Director Jeffrey Mace Suits up for First Time
Agents Of SHIELD Tonight's episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. concluded the first half of Season 4 with a winter finale that'll remain on fans' minds for quite some time. Between all the easter eggs and comic book nods dropped in the episode, no one was expecting the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. to get directly involved with the action but it turns out, director Jeffrey Mace was ready and willing to suit up alongside his S.H.I.E.L.D. comrades.

'The Flash': Who Will Save Barry Allen from Savitar?
After last week's episode of The Flash briefly introduced Savitar to the Flash/Arrowverse, fans have been trying to figure out the true identity of Savitar since his origin on The Flash doesn't match up with his comic-book counterpart. That's not to say Savitar doesn't share similarities with his comic-book counterpart, the version of Savitar on The Flash could wind up being loyal to his comic-book counterpart once his identity is fully discovered. However, Savitar's identity might be a bit different than a cold war pilot struck by lightning; his identity in the comics.
