Born May 7th, 1986 would make me a 35-year-old TAURUS and according to the accumulated research I have gathered over the past 17 years, I would be considered Stubborn, Loyal, and Materialistic (we can unpack that later). I am in possession of incontrovertible evidence regarding the Zodiac that definitively supports one of two possibilities. The first possibility is that star signs are more complex than most people understand, and must be viewed in a deeper context of ascendancy, the moon, Jupiter, etc. The second possibility is that star signs are total BS. Taurus: The Wandering Bull
To be honest, I’ve never put much stock in astrological signs, horoscopes, psychics, or fortune cookies, mainly because they are rarely accurate, but I still find them interesting. Dear Maria you asked why I am the way I am, You could say it all started the day my aunt dragged me out into the heat and then down towards the market in Iran claiming she knew of a 'Wise woman' who can help me get a husband. Ignoring my scowling and complaints of ''I don't want a man and never needed one!'', she towed me towards this half-falling apart store where we were called into a room by a bored teenager wearing a veil. She cautioned us to stay silent and wait for the wise lady to rouse from her talk with the holy one. We waited a whole hour and finally had a conversation with the wise lady wherein my aunt wailed about a niece in her late 20s who is still sadly single. Throughout the wait my aunt glared at me whenever I tried to shift from my position on the floor to relieve my numb legs. It wasn't like I was going to run with my hand captured in hers in a death grip and all my attempts at breaking free thwarted.

Just because I’m the sign of mystery, doesn’t mean...
Scorpios are the most intense sign of the zodiac, I know, I’ve been one for the past twenty-seven or so years. When people hear the word “intensity” they automatically attribute the word to something negative, or to some sort of impending strife. Intensity to some folks, is almost like hearing the dramatic sound effect *DUN. DUN. DUNNN...* in a children's cartoon TV show. But as a Scorpio, I can attest that although there is a part of our experience that is like this, there is an entirely different spectrum of intensity that we rarely talk about. Gemini Gabby
I remember being a geeky and awkward sixteen year old girl who knew very little of astrological signs. I actually didn't even know my own sign until I started high school. And even then I didn't know much about it until one day in class these boys were talking about signs and the girls they dated and what they were like. This one guy spun around and asked me "so Gabby what's your sign?" and I told him I'm a Gemini and all the boys started looking at each other and laughing. I had no idea why until I asked one of my friends later and she told me that Geminis were passionate and freaky and a little crazy. I was shocked. I had never even been kissed or hugged by a boy so freaky I was not and crazy...well I can neither confirm nor deny this.
