Fried Chicken with a Side of Tears
Minimalism and organization expert, Marie Kondo usually tells her clients to choose to keep items that "spark joy," upon further investigation she says what she actually means is to keep things that conjure deep emotion. When I share recipes and the stories that surround them, that is what I aim to do—share recipes that conjure emotions.

Sayuran Tahu Goreng
The flavours of Indonesia and Malaysia are something that I can’t get enough of. The spicy and tropical aromas are perfectly combined for enjoying on the balcony on a summer’s evening. It is a style I continuously return to and have developed some recipes for those times that I can’t afford a plane ticket.

Upside Down Wonderland
I was first introduced to the world of Upside Down cakes when I was 7 years old. To me, the idea of any sort of upside down dessert was amusing, and reminded my childhood self of all things related to Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. Like Alice, who had also been 7 years old in the tale, this divine, sweet confection, was something to be found at the Mad Hatter's tea party, or at the Queen of Heart's celebratory buffet.

The Fool-Proof Loaf
My Mum is a fantastic cook. When I'd ask what was for dinner she'd say "I dunno" as she tossed spices and vegetables into a frying pan. No matter what she'd come up with the dish was 97% a delicious result. However that tactic doesn't work with baking.

Drop Biscuits
There's something about a homemade drop biscuit, fresh from the oven that just makes my day complete. Biscuits are delicious and extremely easy to make. The ingredients are staples that I always seem to have lying around in my pantry, which makes this recipe all the more perfect. Whenever I'm not sure what to make for supper, you can bet that these delicious biscuits come to mind. Maybe paired with some delicious soup. You can't go wrong with having these biscuits as part of your meal.

Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Would you believe that I have never cooked until really recently? Recently meaning like literally last month. And I mean I have never boiled water on the stove or even cooked rice in the rice cooker. Apart from not doing it, I actually didn’t know how! I’m honestly not proud but that’s how it had been.
