Abraham Tested
This is the story that teaches us all "That the Lord will provide." The Lord provided for Abraham and his son, and he still provides for us all today. We just have to learn to be more patient in what we do. He tests us every day and we all hope that we are passing our tests. Today we to give offerings they may not be burnt offerings, but they are our way to see through the issues that may occur from previous events we have done and in hopes of being accepted by all who matter in many ways.

Lot and His Daughters
I really like Genesis for there are many lessons that one can learn. Some are good and some bad. Good thing this was then and not in the "Me too" time. This story was when Lot's daughters slept with their father to keep the family going for the future. Back then the daughters knew it was wrong, but they did what they had to do then and held nothing against Lot. The daughters knew the family will continue and I wonder if they knew then somehow what would happen with their sons and their lives and families in the future.

A Christmas story
Could this be a Christmas tree this man is walking away from? It has a shape to it and as in a 'Charlie Brown Christmas' all it needs is a little love. All you need is some pinecones with peanut butter and birdseed and string to hang on the branches. Maybe some popcorn chains with cranberries. That is what the man is thinking as he walks back to his house and thinks what a nice present to give to the Winter birds who stay around in the cold and snowy and yes blustery North. Now the birds can have Christmas.

The Rose
There was this old rose bush in a neighbor's yard years ago that seemed to only bloom peach-colored roses. The neighbor said, "His wife planted that bush before she died and every time it blooms, I think of her. Her favorite color was peach and when I see those blooms she is speaking to me and sharing what she is doing now in heaven. Now, I do not talk back, but one day I will share with her again all the memories that she missed physically for I know she will know emotionally for she is watching over me now.

Rainbow and Cloud
One day when looking up at the sky and just looking at the clouds I saw a faint rainbow still for it was slightly after a sun shower. You know those rain showers that occur when the sun is out. Anyhow, as looking at the fluffy white clouds a rainbow appeared. For some reason I just closed my eyes and was just silent and listened. It was probably my imagination, but sometimes at times like these I believe I hear my mom and dad talking to me an offering me encouragement in what I still need to do here. Thinking.

Medical Records
What would you do if your doctor or the hospital lost your medical records? This would be quite a hassle don't you think. Do you know right off had if you had all your shots; sorry if this sounded like how one would speak of a pet. You would have to know from memory what meds or whatever that you take if anything. Just think of all the tests that one may have to re-take and whatever else your doctor may need and want to make sure his patient is taken care of properly. Hope this never happens to anybody.

Snicket #9
Lemony Snicket has written #8 'The Carnivorous Carnival' where the Baudelaire's meet Madman Lulu and a cast of freaks that are not really freaks in my eyes. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are on the trail to find out if one of their parents are still alive, but first once again they have to foil Count Olaf and his cohorts. They are traveling through what is known as the Hinterlands and seeking a way to clear their names. Will Violet and Klaus find their way to the mountain where they think a parent may be located. They will figure a way.

What does Election Day mean?
So, what does Election Day really mean? I know it is a day that one elects a president every four years and also as we elect senators and representatives as well. It is a matter of making a choice of who one wants to vote for and achieve a better way of living day to day. There will be promises made in order to get your vote, but for me it is hard to believe that they actually keep their whole promises that they make to get elected to whatever job they seek from president to senator to representatives. Vote!

What is a Thesaurus?
Does anyone really use a print thesaurus anymore? To be honest I do not have one at the present time for it fell apart long ago, and these books if you want a good one are kind of expensive for me right now. For me this is a very helpful book for many reasons for one I would use one for more tautograms for I am mainly using my memory, and I seem to be repeating a lot of words over and over even if I think they are used in a different way. I could use a new one.
