11:11 Make a Wish
I am a huge believer in angel numbers, signs from the universe etc. About three years ago I really started paying more attention to them, and the signs they were trying to give me. Whenever I would see 11:11 even growing I always made a wish. Over the years I've had many wishes from finding love, to being a model, well know writer the list goes on. These last few months though my greatest wish is to love myself, and become a better version of myself everyday. It's not easy, somedays it feels easier to just fall back into the old me where I am comfortable. Even though I know that version of me no longer suits my life. It almost feels like breaking up with someone you've been in a relationship long term. That version of me is someone I've carried with me for at least 2 decades at this point, and I find it hard to just let her go sometimes.

A Veteran Named Ruby
What do you get when you take a rough neck from the south and a wild child from the west and put them in the US Navy together? Technically you get me because the rough neck and the wild child are my parents. The wild child is my mother, Ruby Lee Spencer and it was because of her that I learned what impact the US military has on civilian life.

what i'll never get to say
i never exaggerated. i have trauma about telling my truth and being called a liar so we're gonna start here. every. single. thing. i told you happened, happened. some happened this year, last year, earlier. i told you that, too. but it all happened the way i said it did.

Snaked by my own kind
The value of loyalty can not be overemphasized, it is one of those things we all enjoy and which brings us great comfort. Whether it's our parents and how loyal they are to us, or our friends and the commitment they have for us. I don’t know about others, but it's something I value a lot in all the friendships I have because I understand just how important and valuable it is in society. It is also one of those pleasurable gifts we can get from anybody, and de-facto we expect it from everybody we get to interact with.

When I see a pile of dirt, it reminds me of you
So that title really doesn’t paint the best picture. Allow me to explain. I’m sure we all do it; we have something in life that might remind us of someone. You might smell a particular perfume, and it reminds you of a woman you once knew, or you hear a song that brings back memories of a road trip you did with two other mates. This is one of those scenarios, just probably less flattering for my friend.
