My short story about a real state experience. Content Warning.
Once upon a time, in a quaint town shrouded in mystery, i was working as a real state agent i got an intriguing call. A dilapidated mansion, known as Ravenhurst Manor, had been abandoned for decades and was finally up for sale. Eager to close the deal, I couldn't resist the allure of this decaying architectural masterpiece, despite the unsettling rumors that surrounded it.As i stepped foot into Ravenhurst Manor, an icy chill crept up my spine. The atmosphere was suffocating, and the air seemed to whisper ancient secrets. The creaking floorboards echoed through the empty halls, and a sense of foreboding hung in the stale air.Night fell, and i stayed overnight to finalize the paperwork. That's when the nightmare began. Shadows danced on the walls, taking shape into ghastly figures. Ghostly whispers echoed from the depths of the house, filling my mind with dread. Unseen hands brushed against me, sending shivers down my spine.I attempted to escape, but the doors slammed shut, trapping me within the mansion's clutches. The spirits of long-departed owners emerged, their tortured souls seeking revenge for past wrongs. The walls oozed with blood, and sinister laughter filled the air.Days turned into weeks as i was sanity teetered on the edge. i then discovered a hidden room, adorned with macabre artifacts and a malevolent presence that seeped into her very being. The mansion became a nightmarish labyrinth, twisting and shifting its layout, ensuring i remained trapped.Just as i was on the verge of surrender, a courageous historian uncovered a forgotten diary. It revealed the dark history of Ravenhurst Manor, a place cursed by unspeakable horrors. Armed with this knowledge, the historian performed a ritual to release the trapped spirits, freeing me from the clutches of the haunted mansion.I emerged, forever scarred by the supernatural ordeal i had endured. Ravenhurst Manor, forever tainted by its gruesome past, stood as a grim reminder of the madness that lay within its walls. And the legend of its haunting would forever echo through the town, warning others to steer clear of the cursed real estate that had claimed the souls of so many. Seeking Local

Subject Matter- Mental Illness, PMDD, and Chronic Illness: It is exactly 12:34PM which is such a cute time! I made into work exactly 2 hours late and am finally feeling like 75% of myself. No one was mad so that's good. It sucks because PMDD always steals a good week or two from my life and yet so many people weaponize it and/or ignore it as anything real. I am officially back on a Monday after a grueling PMDD episode that made me feel like a metaphoric worthless worm. I feel the need to add that this metaphor is so unfair to worms considering how necessary and helpful they actually are....but I digress.
