Shining From The Biggest Shadow
One of the more beautiful things to be seen from this Pandemic is the Facebook Watch Documentaries "Unfiltered" featuring Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn, a musical Indie/Folk duo known as The Sound Flowers, as they embark on their first tour. Just from their music alone, you hear a sense of musical peace and tranquility, and immense spiritual growth. Of course, this growth, can't be discussed completely and with any accuracy, without bringing up the shadow this duo falls under. So, here we go.

Funkadelic classified as one of the 100 greatest rock bands of all time
When most people hear the name of Funkadelic they think R&B, Soul, and Funk music. I can recall as a teenager arguing with my cousins that Parliament and Funkadelic were two separate groups with different people in each one. It was years later when I realized that the two bands were comprised of many of the same people and headed by the same leader. Funkladelic had less commercial success than Parliament but this versatile music group is considered as one of the 100 greatest rock bands of all time. This is because their music falls under the category of black rock. They made the list coming in at number 86 thanks to their biggest hit single and album by the same name, One a Nation Under A Groove.

My Musical Perspective
Music is an art that people relate to, something that makes us feel, it is a form of expression that can define who you are. Some music makes you believe something, makes you think on a level you never thought you could. My love of music, is very hard to define. I love all kinds of music, on a scale that some might say is very wide. Growing up I learned very quickly people tend to latch onto the main stream music scene and don't seem to understand others likes and dislikes. I get that, because I don't understand how the top trending artists on YouTube are Cardi B, and Tekashi 6ix9ine. I don't get that because that isn't for me, 6ix9ine especially I don't know how anybody likes that person at all.

Dance Music Pioneer Harry Wayne “K.C.” Casey of K.C. and The Sunshine Band Releases “Put a Little Love in Your Heart” As the World Continues to Work Toward Unity
The iconic K.C. and The Sunshine band continue to bring joy and hopefulness to the masses through their music with the release of “Put a Little Love in Your Heart.” The popular cover song spreads an important message that is available on all streaming platforms now. Though the song has often been sung since Jacki DeShannon’s original version in 1968, the lyrics have never been needed more than the past 6 months.

5 Things BTS Taught Me & Change Me Completely!
Who would have thought that being a Korean pop (k-pop) fan can change my view in life? At first, I always am skeptical about K-pop artists because honestly, I am shallow and ignorant. Same like others, I thought that K-pop is nothing other than a plastic surgery face and fake talent. Boy, I was completely wrong.

Top 4 Underrated Duran Duran Songs
I remember listening to Come Undone as a child and I loved the song, I begged my mom to play it over and over in the car. My mom only bought the CD just for that one song and didn't really care for the other selection of songs so it went into the obscurity of our media cabinet.

Find Me Somebody To Love
It's not hard for me to pick a favorite era of music. There are only a handful of bands and artists that I can listen to on repeat, over and over again without any skips, and Queen leads the pack. Since the release of the film Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018, there has been an increase of hype around the band and many new people have joined the Queen fan club. However, I have memories from 15 years ago listening to Queen with my dad in his old, beat-up truck.

How to impress the older generation with your music tastes
I am actually a fan of most of these bands and artists, but especially Queen. You can share these playlists by sharing your audio during zoom calls amongst people who are not Millennial or Gen Z. I am not implying that all music made in the 21st century is trash; I actually enjoy listening to them. If you find that Boomers aren't willing to listen to your ideas because you are a "Gen Z" and are "overly sensitive", playing this playlist will most likely soothe them. This playlist might also restore their faith in our generation.
