AC/DC - "Shot In The Dark" Global Video Premiere - Review
It’s 7:20 in the morning and I'm in a virtual online waiting queue with 3,600 other people, we are waiting for AC/DC, Dave Mallet, and Josh Cheuse to introduce the new video for the band’s latest single, “Shot in the Dark” (check out my review of that single right here). The virtual chat is filled with anxious fans from all over the world offering up observations like “Can’t wait”, “Honestly I could listen to ACDC all day long”, “Bless me Angus I play guitar too”, and others just identifying where they’re watching from, “Finland” writes one, “North bay Canada”, writes another.

Why My Darkest Days Is Needed To Be With Your Music Library
In the decade of the new millennium, This band rode the wave in from a major music benefactor that found them to splash onto shore. But sadly, the wave they rode just dispersed onto land and seeped through the sand with a short lived span as their music fell into obscurity.

For The Fandom
Many people the world over, myself included, consider British Indie Rock band Arctic Monkeys to be the greatest of our time. I speak for myself, but also, I’m sure for many others when I say that Arctic Monkeys got me through many dark times in my life with their music, their live shows, and the relationship I have with their fandom both online and occasionally in person. Through my 23 years on this earth I have seen and learned of music’s ability to both unite and divide people of all nationalities, gender and race. It occupies a special place on the high table of human connection, joined only perhaps by one other entity equally as powerful. That is of course: food.

Loving the double-life, warts and all
Tishien’s shift is about to end on this average, gloomy Thursday evening. It would’ve ended ten minutes ago, but the nurse she’s waiting to handover to is running late. She drives home, removes her pure white clothes for a shower, then dressed up in long striped pants, big boots, and tank top; the night has begun.

Anne Reburn and Her Clones
No, this is not a review of a new science movie I just caught on Netflix, though it could have been, a few years ago, before the explosion in video technology and savvy which has created on whole new genre of music video now lighting up YouTube. Covers have been a staple of YouTube since it came into our lives in 2006, but now they're being done, of Beatles and Beachboy songs and records by slightly lesser known artists, by just one person, singing all the parts and sometimes even playing all the instruments. They're all always fun to see and listen to, but Anne Reburn's, with what she refers to as her "clones," are in a class by themselves. The handful that I've seen so far are just fabulous, on all kinds of levels.

Was 2010-2012 An Era or What?
Sheesh, being birthed in 1997 made it super hard for me to find a future celebrity husband. I grew up admiring acts like B2K, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Tyrese, B5, Lloyd, D4L, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Andre 3000, Usher, and so many more. Each of these talented acts have contributed mere greatness to Hip-Hop and R&B. Even those who paved the way were fine. I mean, have y'all seen the Jackson 5 in their prime? If I was a 60s girl I know Eddie Kendricks from the The Temptations would've had me wrapped around his fingers. One thing about my imagination, it never allowed me to settle for unrealistic thoughts. I've always wanted to create scenarios in my head about meeting my celebrity man crush backstage and eventually marrying him, but it didn't feel right with any of these artists who came before my time because when I finally arrived at the fangirl age age, these folks were married, divorced, or had children my age. No thanks.
