Why You Should Listen to Lords of Acid
Lords of Acid are a Belgian/American techno group that’s been around since the late 1980s. I’m a bit late to the Lords of Acid party, as I’ve only just started listening to them a few years ago, but as far I know they are still active and are still alive and kicking. Their music has proven to be timeless and paints a perfect image of the club scene in the 90s. I could see myself dancing to a lot of this music to the dancing machines in the arcade machines.

Taller in More Ways
The fourth album by the Sugababes had the band working with top producers like Dallas Austin and Xenomania. Like they did with their other albums, the girls split writing credits and shared vocal parts in the song. They’re at the height of their career after bringing out three iconic albums. This album is a treat for pop music fans. I remember when Push The Button first came out, and it was stuck in my head for days. Many pop bands are lucky to release more than two albums, let alone four in their first run.

A Musical Education , My Experience of Public Service Broadcasting
I first heard Public Service Broadcasting on BBC Radio 6 with the song “ROYGBIV” an acronym for the sequence of hues commonly described as making up a rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Why an ARMY likes BTS
BTS, known in Korea as 방탄소년단(Bangtan Sonyeondan), has not only taken the world by storm because of the their amazing choreography, performance, vocals, rapping and sick beats but because of the message that they spread and because of who they are as people. To begin with, the name of the band itself translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts. While the name itself may seem a little funny it actually means, as explained by member J-Hope, "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets". I think that alone is a great introduction to the kind of message that they spread.

Weightless. Top Story - September 2021.
Most people, at least until recently I think, would look at me and ask "Who?" whenever I mentioned my favorite band. Even with their first Number 1 song on the Alternative Rock charts, a feat I feel was way too long of a time coming, I still receive this perplexed look when I talk about them to someone new.

Me and the Rolling Stones
How many musicians (or wannabe musicians) can honestly say that The Rolling Stones went to one of their concerts? Not many…but I’m one of them. Unfortunately, the story’s not exactly as glamorous as it sounds. In fact, it was a disastrous affair I’d rather have played for an audience of no people. Here’s how it happened:

Name Origins of Our Favorite Rock ’n Roll Bands
Photo by Paul Jones The Kinks Larry Page once commented that Ray Davies and his bandmates had a Kinky fashion sense. Hence, "The way you look, and the clothes you wear, you ought to be called the Kinks.” This is how the frontman quoted the long time singer, and a name that Davies didn't particularly like, was born.
