Apparently, it's not a great time to be Taylor Swift right now. Don't get me wrong; Swift's life is undoubtedly comfortable from a superficial standpoint. She's a multi-million selling singer, with sold out concerts throughout the globe. She's probably quite able, should she desire to do so, to retire at her current ripe old age of 27 and not do anything else for the rest of her life and still maintain a pretty decent lifestyle. Outside of some very high profile romances (and friendships gone bad — we're looking at you, Katy Perry), she's even been able to keep a good deal of her private life relatively private — a rarity considering the pervasiveness of today's media.

Fifth Harmony Surprises and Sings with Sam Smith and James Corden
OK, so just a few days ago, Sam Smith sang in a karaoke carpool on The Late Late Show with James Corden. I thought it was so cute and sweet that Sam Smith was so starstruck that he died dead when Fifth Harmony got into the car later on and surprised him singing his favorite song, "Work From Home." It’s so cool to see one star really love and appreciate another artist’s work.

All Rap is 'Conscious Rap'. Top Story - November 2017.
"Conscious rap" is defined as rap music which "challenges the dominant cultural, political, philosophical, and economic consensus." Which, if you ask me, sounds a hell of a lot like regular, old rap. The definition continues to state that "conscious rap" songs usually contain "positive, uplifting messages, often delivered over smooth ear-grabbing beats." Which again, to me just sounds like rap.

New Out in Grime Music
Over the past few weeks, it has been hard to catch up with all the sick releases happening. End of October saw Krept and Konan release their two incredible mixtapes 7 Days and 7 Nights. Halloween saw Skepta release his Vicious EP and Metro Boomin & Offset release Without Warning (which actually released without warning). Start of November has brought us new Dave's album Game Over and Wiley announcing a new album for next February whilst releasing a single from it this week.
