Glen Goshon’s watch stopped ticking. He possessed a brain chip that read him that functioned on the atomic clock and could tell him the times on distant planets, but he loved his wristwatch. The simple leather strap and the platinum bezel and dial charmed him. He grinned a bit. He took off the timepiece from his right wrist and placed it in a drawer in his desk. As he rose from his desk, he felt like he had just buried a loved one, but only until he got it fixed. He would see its resurrection through a chronographer.
