Musical Colors
This article incorporates two things I love very much color and music. As I write about colors and their meaning I also think about songs that are written about different colors. So each color becomes musical and I think you will enjoy taking this colorfully musical journey.

Strange and Creepy Museums
People go to museums for the culture. They like to look at lovely works of art, exquisite statues, and other objects to be admired. There are museums where you can look at historical objects and learn about different periods in life. Then the question is why anyone would want to go to a museum to see things that are frightening. These are things that nightmares are made of yet if people did not go to these museums they would not exist. There is some kind of fascination and it might come from scary tales and horror movies.

Beauty in Black and White
Antarctic Adelie penguins are the smallest and most common of all Antarctic penguin species. These penguins can be found in colonies on islands, beaches, and along the shores of the Antarctic coast. They can be recognized by the white rings around their eyes and tails that are shorter than those of other species. Their beaks are red with black tips. Their diet consists of tiny creatures like krill and small fish.

Pizza Through the Centuries
Most likely you probably figure you know all there is to know about pizza. Well, I have read many different histories of pizza but this one seemed sort of fascinating as it takes us through many centuries. There is nothing to describing a pizza. It’s simply a baked Italian pie made up of a bread crust that has been covered with seasoned tomato sauce, cheese and an assortment of toppings like sausage, mushrooms or pepperoni. The word pizza supposedly comes from an Old Italian word meaning “a point” and in turn becomes the Italian word “pizzicare” meaning to “pinch” or “pluck”.

Memorable Hollywood Movies
This is an emotionally intriguing movie from 1948 starring one of my all-time favorite Old Hollywood actresses Irene Dunne. The time in this movie is about 1910 and tells the story of a Norwegian immigrant family in San Francisco, California. The interesting thing about this movie is that it also stars two actresses who are quite young here and who went on to have very famous roles on TV. One plays the oldest daughter of the family Katrin and her name was Barbara Bel Geddes who later went on to play Ellie the head of the Ewing clan in “Dallas” and the other is Ellen Corby playing Aunt Trina who became Grandma in “The Waltons”.

It can be eaten as is or with pickles or served with other dishes like curries. Papadum can be topped with chutneys or raita sauce and accompanied by hot tea. There are variations on this dish like rice papadum which is boiled in water and then dried in the sun, masala papadum with spices like black pepper, chilli, cumin, and garlic or jackfruit papadum combining jackfruit with chickpea flour.

England Eggs Eggy bread is the British version of French toast. This dish is also referred to as Poor Knights of Windsor. It is prepared with crustless sandwich bread, milk, icing, sugar, eggs, butter, cinnamon and usually a bit of sherry and strawberry jam. The bread gets soaked in a mixture of milk, eggs, icing sugar, and sherry then pan-fried until browned on both sides. When done the bread is sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and topped with strawberry jam or blackberry compote.

Bat Out Of Hell
The title refers to his very successful album and song by the same title. He was larger than life and full of dynamic energy. American singer and actor Meat Loaf could belt out a song in a rough, tough, voice and then switch to a slower ballad and wring out the emotions in you. Sadly on January 20, 2022, Meat Loaf passed away and joined the rock and roll band in the sky at the age of 74. As much as he will be missed his music and the movies in which he played make him immortal and we can still enjoy his dynamic presence on videos.
