XL Bully Dogs: Government Will Not Ban Them.
The government has refused to ban XL Bully dogs. There has been a spate of attacks in recent years. According to the 'Daily Mirror' the public overwhelmingly backed a ban. Chris Philips, Home Office Minister, said He backed a ban on this and other dangerous dogs. The XL Bully is related to the American Pit Bull which is banned in the UK. This breed, though, is not under restrictions and you can legally keep one. Banned but not subject to restrictions doesn't make sense. But there you are, the law is what it is.

Wishy-Washy-On-The-Pier
While the rest of us make do with the rainy summer our Dear Leader (really?) is on his jollies in California. According to Mr. Sunak, it is the first time he and his family have enjoyed a family break in years. A photo emerged of him strolling down a pier with his wife Akshata Murty and daughters Krishna and Anoushka in tow. Photos of Prime Ministers have become a tradition and the Sunaks are no different. In the life of this Tory government, both David Cameron and Theresa May posted pics of their holidays.

Anti-Tory Chant of England Fan.
England's 'Lionesses' soccer team are doing the nation proud. In the World Cup set in Australia, England beat Haiti 1 - 0 but it was a near-run thing. Haiti despite being a minor in world football played well. They provided a hard job for England and the 'Lionesses' had to fight for the ball. However, England triumphed and got their first victory under their belt.

Trump: Could Face 40 Years Behind Bars.
Donald Trump seems to be revving his engine to have another run at the White House. He hopes and there does seem to be massive support out there for him, to serve another four years as the Nation's President. It seems the more Trump is hounded or more revelations come to the fore, good or bad, his supporters are standing with him.

Will The Real Gal Gadot Please Stand Up?
Gal Gadot since springing to fame as Wonder Woman has to be the most bankable female star in Hollywood. Yes, you could argue so is Scarlet Johansson, but I am not here to compare like for like. Gal Gadot was a model, fitness instructor in the Israeli Army and model. She was born in Israel and studied dance as a youngster. She also won the Miss Israel contest. She has a younger sister and grew up in a very Jewish household.

Blair: Future Generation Will Rejoin EU.
When the UK voted to leave the European Union, our history changed. Some saw it as a fresh start for Britain, others saw it as a disaster. 52% voted to leave in 2016 as opposed to 48% who wanted to stay. The Tory government pre-Boris Johnson seemed to procrastinate about leaving the EU. The public had spoken whether the government liked it or not. The general election of 2019 delivered a landslide for Boris Johnson. Johnson said he would honour the vote to leave referendum. And so he did, sort of. The UK left the European Union with a deal but not a perfect deal. It left Northern Ireland as part of the UK but still under the EU. Sunak put that right or did he?

Christian Nationalism: Is It A Threat?
When the Taliban took power last year many far-right so-called Christian Nationalists celebrated. Just like their Islamic Brethren in Afghanistan, these American fanatics love beards and guns. They think that maybe a similar thing can happen in America where the US will be ruled by a Christian Theocracy. Just like in Afghanistan, where the Taliban enforce an extreme form of Sharia, they want the US ruled by the Bible.

Judge Sir Brian Langstaff Made Sunak Uncomfortable.
Sunak does not like being pointed out in public. At the public inquiry, Sunak looked like he wished he was somewhere else. The inquiry was concerned with people who had been victims of contaminated blood. Sunak was there to answer for the government and what it did about it.

Emily Thornberry: Sunak Demeans Office of Prime Minister.
Emily Thornberry a Minister on Keir Starmer's front bench is not happy with Rishi Sunak. Sunak has accused the Labour Party of being little better than the criminal gangs who exploit migrants. Emily Thornberry said she normally respects the Office of the Prime Minister. However, Ms. Thornberry accused the Prime Minister of "demeaning" the role of Prime Minister. Usually, she went on, she doesn't normally speak out, but because of what Sunak said, she had little choice.
