Broken, Busted, Done and Dusted, UK.. Content Warning.
When David Cameron came to power in 2010 he described the country as 'Broken Britain'. After 14 years of Tory misrule, the country remains even more fractured. The four nations that make up the UK apart from England have their parliaments and assemblies. This idea started under Blair and Brown giving the nations of the UK in a democratic vote, the choice to have their autonomy. The vote came back yes, overwhelmingly. So Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland voted to have their parliaments and assemblies. They then have the right to make their decisions on many things.

Harris and Trump: What's Happening.. Content Warning.
Kamala Harris remains Vice-President in the dying days of Joe Biden's presidency. The utter disaster of Trump v Biden round 2 in July was enough for many Democrats. Biden bumbled and stumbled through the broadcast whereas Trump seemed cognitive and coherent. Biden resisted being ousted from the presidential race. Joe Biden has always wanted to be president so why would he step down, even with alleged mental health?

Since the death of a Hezbollah commander and a Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Israel has been expecting a massive revenge attack either from Hezbollah or Iran or both. Islamic State: Rising Again?. Content Warning.
The Islamic State was defeated soundly by the US, UK, and even Iran. Funny how a common enemy unites usually hostile nations. Other nations like Iraq, also helped to defeat the Islamic State. At the height of its power, Islamic State ruled territories in Iraq and Syria. Raqqa was the capital of what was to all intents and purposes, a functioning state of 10 million people. IS like the Japanese in WW II had a good 6 months run of capturing territory and seemed unstoppable. Even on the verge of capturing Baghdad as Iraqi forces fell back under their onslaught. Groups the IS did like were executed in what amounted to a genocide. Captured Westerners were executed. Thousands of people from around the world swelled their ranks thinking they were going to some perfect Islamic paradise. As many later found out, the promised land for Muslims, turned out to be hell on earth, especially for women.

A Cacophony of Riots.. Content Warning.
Tommy Robinson or Stephen Yaxley-Lennon to give him his birth name set up the EDL. The English Defence League was allegedly set up to counter Islamism. An extremely fascistic branch of Islam. Such groups that fall under this banner could be the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, IS, and countless other groups. The EDL would gather to confront mosques being built, gather in Muslim areas, and be there to stop Muslim protests about British troops parading. Subsequently, Robinson stepped down as the group leader and the group seemed to go quiet.

GB Energy: Will Take Time.. Content Warning.
People have been afraid to turn on their heating over winter lest they cannot afford their bills. So, you envisioned people wearing warmer clothing to keep warm. What a 'Dickensian' way to live in the 21st Century too. The government at the time blamed the war between Russia and Ukraine. No doubt, this did contribute to the spike in energy bills. However, the UK did not and does not receive gas from the Russians. As far as I am aware, our gas supply comes from Norway. Rishi Sunak allowed new drilling in the North Sea to exploit gas reserves. He granted new licences to companies hoping to make money out of this. Sunak must have been thinking long term for the UK to be self-sufficient in gas and maybe, oil. However, critics said this long-term scenario was not a game changer in the short term. This policy depending on fossil fuels was a rowing back on the government's policy on renewable energy. Labour has subsequently scrapped this policy.
