A Kentucky gals dream

“A Kentucky girls dream” Ever since a young age I’ve had this incline towards creating, and scissors have always been a part of that process, whether it be scrapbooking with my nana or quilting with my mom, both things I enjoyed very much, however they weren’t my thing! It wasn’t until later in life when I found what truly made me happy, I remember the exact moment I watched my first ever fashion show, the behind the scenes caught my attention and by far in my opinion the best part, watching the creator mesh and mash their image upon a living and breathing canvas was beautiful, the way she would cut the garment too the perfect length and the way it’d flow on stage was outstanding, she knew what she wanted and she achieved that, it was marvelous! The way she brought to life what once was only an image in her mind, had me in complete and utter “aww” I couldn’t help but sit there and dream of what I’d cut and create if I were in her place and that’s what led me to my true passion, Sewing and upcycling times forgotten pieces and bringing them back to life in my vision!
