Top 2 Trends of 2020 That Need to Die
The year 2020 was an eye-opening year that truly changed the way we view the old adage "hindsight is always 2020". We've seen a lot of strange firsts for society, as well as continuations of problems that have needed to be resolved for some time. We've also seen some severe regressions in cultural thought and behaviors amongst all sorts of people that have resulted in catastrophes that could be prevented if we all learned to get along with one another.

Change Is A Good Thing
I can feel it deep within my gut; there is a visceral change on the horizon that may scare a number of people but is worth it in the end. To be wise is to embrace such change and move with it, for these things have needed to happen for quite some time now. In order for proper growth within one's self and within society to occur, certain old ways of being have to be either destroyed completely or re-molded into something brand new.

Anywhere I Am Free
The coziest spaces I've ever been in are always places where I personally feel the most freedom, or they are places that are getaways (even brief ones) from the increasingly harsh reality we all live in. That being said, I have a lot of places I consider to be quite comfortable spaces--these include my current bedroom living situation (I still live with my folks currently, though I have plans to eventually get moved out hopefully within the year), to friends' and family I visit, to the living space I dream about and eventually plan to have, to the dreams I dream at night, and finally to the books I read and video games I play. Each and every one of these types of spaces I consider comfortable and cozy for their own reasons.

Anywhere But Here!
I'm sure by now everyone has seen this meme at one point or another. It makes a valid point given how 2020 has gone thus far; the lockdowns then and now have made it more troublesome to travel anywhere out of fear of catching the Rona, and thus risking the lives of those around us and close to us. A lot of people likely don't want to bother traveling anywhere unless they absolutely have to, as they don't want to be forced to wear a mask, social distance, or simply be sent back home again.

One Small Act of Kindness
The train pulled into Kansas City’s prestigious Union Station, screeching to a halt. As the crowd of busy passengers push and shove their way off, a young man of 28 with wearied face stays seated for a moment, small standard leather briefcase still in hand. It carried his only possessions-some clothes, a toothbrush and tooth paste, razor, comb, and some resumes, along with a couple pencils and a few sheets of blank drawing paper. He otherwise held nothing of great wealth or value.

Support A Cause
Normally, when someone things of the phrase, "supporting a cause", the first thing that comes to mind is charity or a political campaign that is endorsed by large companies and what not. That person may also think of homegrown entities that focus in on helping their local community specifically, instead of something larger scale. However, what few people seem to think of is helping small businesses in general (who may or may not have any sort of charity or political cause behind their business) by simply purchasing products or services from them. For the most part, such entities are largely ignored in favor of going towards bigger markets such as major grocery stores, big conglomerate businesses, and major publishing entities, and given the hard work they go through on the daily to build up interest in their business, the small business entity needs and deserves greater attention.

How Much Should Your Videos Cost You?
Video production is an intimidating branch of marketing for obvious reasons; the cost of either acquiring a camera or paying someone who owns a camera to shoot the video is usually high. Getting a video editor or even just software is also costly. Even hiring someone on to take care of hair and makeup can be quite daunting. Then there's preproduction work, meaning meetings with not just the crew to do the job (after you've found the right people to do it), but with other members of the board, as well as higher ups in the company and those who are actually representing the company in the video if you have someone speaking to the camera.
