Old School Anime Review - 'Angelic Layer'
It's been a while since I reviewed an anime, so I thought I'd do a new anime review... although, this time I was a bit more careful in selecting a title. The last review that I did—Gall Force: Eternal Story—left me with a terrible headache, and I've still got the rest of the series to go through...

5 Underappreciated Musical Films
Musicals have always been, and will likely always be, a popular genre of entertainment. It's not necessarily my favorite genre—particularly when it comes to film, but I can see the appeal. There's just something cathartic about watching a film where you're not being bombarded with gunfights, explosions, and/or excessive gore. Instead, musicals bombard you with... well... music.

5 Under-Appreciated Cartoons
Cartoons... we've all grown up with them in some way or another. Whether it's a newspaper comic strip, a good movie, or a memorable line; cartoons are a part of almost every kid's formative years. 10 Book Series That Need to Be Adapted to Television
I think we've all read that one book or series of books, and wondered where the film was. Now, I grew up reading the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew novels, as well as several others. As I got older and my tastes obviously changed, and while I'd still read the occasional Hardy Boys adventure, they quickly became a sort of once-in-a-while read for me.

Old School Anime Review - 'Gall Force: Eternal Story'
I've been a huge anime fan for years now and that's not likely to change. My preferences haven't really changed all that much over the years. I've seen hundreds of episodes from various series and most of the time they've been very enjoyable. Obviously, there were a few duds here and there but that's true for any genre.

5 Underappreciated Fantasy Films II
Back at the start of August last year I did a list of underappreciated fantasy films and I figured it was about time to do another underappreciated films list and I thought I'd continue with fantasy films before moving on to sci-fi and horror and so on.

5 Underappreciated Romance Films
Okay, I'm not big on the romance genre when it comes to movies. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good romantic comedy every now and then but I'm not going to go looking for one. With that in mind, I've seen a few romance films which don't really get a lot of attention; let's look at some of them.
