The DM Review #2
In this review I will be discussing the Dhar Mann video “Turbaned Passenger Kicked Off Plane, What Happens is Shocking” and the problems along with it. One, it stars mother and son Kathy and Mikey Miller. While this has Mikey in it, this is not entirely a Mikey centered episode as he has a supporting role and is more calm and probably got off punishment. The villain of the video is Kathy herself. The video begins on a plane as Kathy and Mikey take their seats. Then a man with a turban named Baljit arrives and sits across from them. Kathy is not happy with this arrangement and asks Mikey, who is chewing sunflower seeds, to switch seats with her as she sees Baljit as a terrorist and at one point rudely calls him ‘Mohammed’ which caught the attention of a few passengers. When Kathy hears him chanting to himself, she assumes that he is a Muslim while he is actually a Sikh. Mikey is playing on his tablet and chewing on the sunflower seeds during the whole scene. Baljit sees him chewing and advises him to be careful with the seeds especially after he briefly chokes on one and coughs it out and Kathy rudely tells him to stay out of their business. A flight attendant tells all of the passengers to fasten their seatbelts as the plane is about to take off. Kathy calls for her and asks if she can switch her seats because she believes that Baljit’s prayer is a plot for a terrorist attack. The flight attendant assures her that the chanting prayer is common within his religion especially before flight and that there is nothing to worry about. Mikey is still coughing and Kathy gives him a bottle of water. She then takes out her phone and quickly snaps a picture of Baljit who instantly notices. When he questions it, she tries to deny it but then tells him the real reason why. She took the picture to show her husband so just in case if something happened to or on the flight, she would want him to know who would be responsible: Baljit. The flight attendant hears the argument and Kathy tells her she is not comfortable sitting next to Baljit and wants to move her seat. The flight attendant says there is one open seat left. Taking exception to everything said to him, Baljit takes the last seat. Kathy is relieved that he is gone and the flight attendant tells her that she should not have judged him. Kathy outright calls him a terrorist and the passengers heard her. The flight attendant leaves in utter disgust. Mikey takes a few more sunflower seeds and begins choking again. Kathy frantically calls for help as it is more severe this time. One passenger offers to give him water but Kathy turns her away, saying Mikey already had water. Baljit comes over to Mikey but Kathy refuses to have him near her son. He manages to get Mikey to spit out the seeds and everyone applauds him. Kathy thanks him for saving Mikey and he tells her that he is a doctor and performing surgery in town. He also tells her he was praying for Mikey’s safety. At that moment she felt really bad about how she treated him. She asks him if he could sit in his original seat next to her. He does so after turning down an offer from the plane captain to sit in first class. My perspective is that in the first video Kathy is first shown as playing favorites between her sons. But in this video, she is shown as highly critical of someone she just met. Things get worse in her later appearances when it comes to Mikey.

The DM Reviews #1
In this review of the Dhar Mann infamous “Mikey” centered videos, I would like to discuss the very first one that premiered on Youtube, “Kid Cheats on Final Exam, He Lives to Regret It.” Here we meet mikey miller who is taking virtual classes due to the ongoing quarantine at the time. Along with him is his younger brother Jayden. Their teacher Mr Wilson asks for Mikey who is playing online games instead of focusing on the class. Jayden tells Mikey that Mr Wilson had called for him and that’s when he turns on the headphones to listen. Mr Wilson then tells the class the final exam is coming up that week. During lunch we meet their mother, Kathy and they tell her about the upcoming final exam. Mikey asks if they could get the PS5 since they will both be home for the summer. Then she makes a deal of her own: if they both pass the exam, she will buy it for them. They are excited by the news and when she leaves, Jayden asks Mikey how he would expect to pass if he had not been studying or paying attention in class. So Mikey comes up with a simple solution for him at least. He finds a website that happens to have all the answers to the final exam. Jayden is very shocked and tells him not to do so. Mikey tries to convince him to use the answers, but he refuses and states that Mikey should just study with him. Then Jayden uses the phrase “you have to do things the right way.” How ironic, but not on his part though. When Kathy comes back in the kitchen, Mikey asks if he could get the PS5 for himself if he passes, just to mess with Jayden, who is not pleased. So comes the day of the final exam and Mr Wilson prepares the exam for the class. Jayden is clearly not looking too happy as he knows what Mikey is about to do. Mr Wilson sets the exam up for everyone to take. After a few seconds Mikey secretly sets up the website. Through the unnecessary narration we get scenes of Mikey coping down every answer with a smile. A couple of days later, Mikey is hogging the tablet that he and Jayden supposedly share and Kathy tells him to share. She then asks about the results for their final exam. Mikey tells her they had not received it yet and asks her if they could still get the PS5. she then pulls a brand new PS5 which nobody knows how she was about to get it that quick. Then the doorbell rings and Jayden opens it, seeing that it is their teacher mr wilson. He stops by the house to tell everyone that both brothers passed the exam. Kathy is clearly happy upon learning about Jayden’s result. But when it came to Mikey’s exam result, it was a whole different feeling. On Mikey’s exam. It reads zero percent. Mr Wilson says that mikey did pass if the answers were from the website he created, all because students looked up answers in the beginning of distant learning. Kathy is very mad with Mikey and throws the line ‘you have to do things the right way’ at him. Then she grounds him for the summer and bans him from ever using the PS5 and Jayden would not share. Kathy then shouts at Mikey to go to his room. She then gleefully helps Jayden set up the PS5 while Mikey is upset and the video ends. The irony of the line is that Kathy wants Mikey to do right but later videos show her doing worse things than him and clearly favoring Jayden over him.

LHS Class of 01 The Prom
It was a few days away from the prom actually being only Wednesday and everyone in the group was discussing plans for that night. After her first party almost went downhill, Megan egan to worry about how the prom might go. She and Emily had walked in the hallway to one of their final classes. As they headed to the homeroom they briefly discussed their plans. "I don't know what to do about prom. I already got a dress but I'm still working on a date." Megan stated to emily. "How about peter? I saw chemistry between you two at the party." Emily reliped. "I could and you could bring Marc" Megan teasingly said to her. "Very funny she said and yes I am taking him." Megan could not help but smile at that comment. The two entered the classroom and across the hallway there was Francis watching them and was not happy. But he walked away to his class. In the classroom the teacher Mrs Wilkes handed back everybody's final exam. Megan received her final exam results and received a 98 percent. "I would like to say congratulations to everybody who has passed this exam and I hope to see you all at the prom." Mrs Wilkes said to everyone because they all passed the exam. Megan and Emily exit the classroom nearly an hour later for lunch. They met up with Joan at their usual table where it will be one of the last times they will eat lunch together. "I am so excited about the prom and knowing that I got a good score is amazing," Megan said. Joan and Emily high-five her. "So who are you taking to the prom?" Joan asked Emily. "Do I even need to say it?" Emily responded. Already realized who Emily is taking to the prom. "Who are you going with?" Emily asked Joan. "Well it might be a shock to you but I am going with Scott." Emily responded to them. "Scott?" Emily and Megan were confused but also excited. "He asked me if I was going and I asked if he was too. And then he started to show me his comic book collection and I like them." Joan said to them. Megan could not help but blush and Emily who never usually does that finally did blushed too. Meanwhile across the lunchroom Marc was hanging with Peter and Scott at their lunch table. "Oh man. I am very excited about going to the prom with emily." Marc told them. "That's great and all. but you both are very different." Peter responded. "That's not important. We really love each other and…" Marc was about to finish before Scott interjected. "You guys are not even dating and all you did was make out," Scott stated. "I don't really expect you to understand this," Marc replied. "That's because you had dates in the past and you're on the football team. So you're right we never had any dates." Peter responded. "I didn't mean it like that and I'm glad for you guys." Marc told them. "Thank you," Scott said, very confused. "So does that mean you might be named prom king this year?" Peter asked marc. "I hope so," Marc said quietly. "You know that fool was named prom king twice and homecoming king once. I was just the runner up during freshman year. Francis thinks he can get everything." Marc said as he ate his food. Later that day Megan went home and searched through his closet to see what dress to wear. She then came across a dark blue dress and realized it was the one. Then came Saturday night and the group met up with each other at her house so they could go together.

LHS Class of 01 The Party Part 3
When we last saw Megan at her party she had her ex boyfriend Francis leave her party with his girlfriend Valerie after nearly crashing it. Then she went searching for Marc throughout the house. She went to her room and heard noise from her closet. Upon opening her closet door she would see something that she never thought she would see ever. Right in front of her was Marc and Emily kissing each other. They turned around after hearing the door open and they were all shocked. "Oh my. How long have you two been doing this?" Megan asked them. "Just tonight" Marc said nervously. Emily could not be any more embarrassed than she was at that moment and then she turned to Megan and said "You tell anyone about this..." "Too late" Megan Marc and Emily heard a voice from across the room. They all turned to the doorway and saw that Joan was standing in the middle of it. "So you two are dating huh? And you hid this from us the whole time?" Joan asked Marc and emily. were not dating marc said to reassure her. Then he turned to Emily and whispered "Are we?" "I don't know," she replied in a bored tone. "Someone help" a voice shout from downstairs which got the attention of Megan Joan, Emily and Marc. They rushed downstairs to see what was happening. They ran into the living room and saw that Francis had returned. They saw him bickering with Scott, who reminded him that he was not on the list. Francis then pushed Scott against the table. Peter and Marc rushed to him to help and to get Francis to leave. Marc then stepped in between Francis and scott. "You're not even supposed to be here," he shouted at Francis while standing in front of scott. "Get out of the way," Francis shouted back to Marc, stepping close to him. "Leave my man alone," Emily said to Francis coming in between him and marc.

LHS Class of 01 The Party Part 2
It was finally the day of the party at Megan's house. She had cleaned most of the living room during the early hours and organized the entire room by putting the food on the table and putting up a banner that said "happy anniversary." She accidently picked up the wrong banner which was supposed to say "congratulations." it was too late for her to change the banner and the guests were to arrive at three. As she gathered a few cups she heard her doorbell rang and saw that it was Joan with Emily, Peter, Scott and Marc. "welcome you guys" she cheerfully said to them as they entered her house. "Are we early?" Marc asked Megan as he took his coat off and placed it on a hanger. "No you guys are right on time " she assured him although it was two fifty five. "I guess you're not used to wild parties huh?" Marc asked her. "Who said this is a wild party? This is a regular party like any other and there will be no hard drinks here, you got it?" Megan said with a light stern expression. "Meg, you alright?" Joan, being confused and concerned, asked her. "I'm sorry. It's my first big party and I want it to be special. Every time there was a party, there was drinking, vomiting, broken expensive stuff and cops. All of those are the last things I need , especially here and today." Megan said to all of them. "Don't forget an unwanted guest or two." Marc whispered to Emily and peter. "Huh," Megan said, confused barely hearing what Marc said. An hour later the party actually began when several guests arrived at the house. Megan had lowered the music on the music player to avoid noise complaints and kept her guest list on her to see who was coming. As she and Joan went to the kitchen to get the drinks, Francis entered the house with Valerie and they were not happy with what they saw. "You call this a party? it's more like those geek clubs after school with terrible food" Francis said upon entering. "Why did you two date again?" Valerie asked him. Joan exited the kitchen and saw them and was not very happy. what are you two doing here? she asked them, very angry. "Relax, we didn't want to come to your little boring party anyway. we stopped by to see what it's like and it's not so much." Valerie told Joan. "So we're not staying?" Francis asked Valerie. "We weren't invited, remember? And it's not that good." Valerie whispered to him. In the kitchen Megan took the drinks out of her fridge and Peter came in seeing her carrying two bottles and a bag of nacho chips. "Let me help," Peter went to her and carried the two bottles. "Thank you Pete," she said happily. "No problem" he said as he held the bottles. "Oh Francis and Valerie are here." "What?" Megan became shocked after he told her the news. She quickly rushed out of the kitchen with Peter following her. she saw them still bickering with Joan and had to excuse her from the scene. "You two need to leave right now," she said to the both of them. "Fine, we'll go," Valerie said to her and then exited the house. However before he left, Francis then knocked down the coat rack, angering megan. "What the hell?" she shouted to him as he left. "I knew he was going to do something like this, " Joan said. "I'll be back," Megan responded. She went looking for Marc throughout the house. so she went upstairs and searched every room until she reached her room. She looked around and heard some noise coming from her closet. She opened it and saw something she least expected.

LHS Class of 01 The Party Intro
It was about two weeks and a half before the graduation of the class of 2001 for Lincoln high school. One member of a six person group, Megan had planned a party for her group and some other graduates. There was her a honor student, her long time friend, Joan the school's band drummer, Emily a classmate of hers who always wore all black clothing, Peter who wrote short stories in his spare time, Scott, peter's friend and Marc who often played sports and made the honor roll throughout the four years. Marc also played on the football team which is the Wildcats for the school. Megan had planned the party for weeks but had to set it before the prom which was exactly a week before the graduation ceremony. She had completed a list of guests to invite to the party placed at her house on Saturday night a week before the prom. She had trouble thinking of who to invite to the party. She knew emily did not go to parties or even school functions. The last time Scott went to a party most of the people he was talking to were bored by what he was talking about, which was what he learned in science class, working on computers and the latest comic books he read. As for Peter, he had a crush on Megan since their freshman year together and he had never really attended a party outside of school. He thought this might be his last chance to develop a relationship with her. Marc was already on the list except his fellow teammate Francis whom Megan had dated for a year and a half. Francis had ended it by dating Valerie, the head varsity cheerleader. Valerie never really liked Megan and found Emily to be weird. Now Scott had a crush on Valerie but she found him to be weirder than Emily all because of his interest in comics and science. "Now it's really important that they get these as soon as possible," Megan said to Joan, holding a stack of invitations for the party. "I'll hand these out during lunch and you can help me get the food," she said gathering up the intitivations. sure we can get the food after school joan replied to her as they left the library. So during their lunch period Megan and Joan handed out the invitations to those on her list, including Scott and Peter. Peter was surprised to receive an invitation and Scott was also surprised as he was seen as boring by others when it came to parties. Scott did a small victory dance as Peter looked at him very confused. So after school Megan and Joan went to the grocery store to pick up the food for the party. While picking up a bag of nacho chips in the chip aisle, Megan then sees Valerie and her two fellow cheerleaders Brooke and elle. The two were very different from her. Brooke had both an equal amount of warmth and coldness to her while Elle was much sweeter. "Another lonely night for you I see" Valerie said to megan. "Not now," Megan replied as she reached for a bag of plain potato chips on the upper shelf. Joan walked in the aisle holding one bottle of orange soda and another bottle of ginger ale and saw the interaction. She wondered what the cheerleaders were doing in a grocery store on a Wednesday afternoon. "Oh, I forgot. you only have her" Valerie said giggling. Both Megan and Joan were not amused and Brooke and Elle felt completely awkward. "And I guess this helps you," Joan stated to Valerie while Brooke and Elle looked like they wanted to laugh. The trio then left while Megan and Joan went to gather other food for the party. After the shopping spree, the two went to Megan's house to bring the food. In total, they brought two bags of chips, three types of cookies, paper plates, napkins, cups, and four bottles of drinks. After that she had thirteen dollars leftover.
