A Blunt and Endearing Letter to Pittsburgh Steelers Fans
To any and all fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, it has to be said: you guys are screwed. I'm sensing a trend here. First off, let's talk about the concept of "secondary teams." Many sports fans say they have that second team other than their favorite that they love. As for me, I kinda do, but I kinda don't. I'm a diehard Packers fan, but if I did have a secondary team in the NFL, it would be the Steelers. There was always something about how the Steelers carried themselves. Gritty, tough, never doing things the easy way. They're basically the Packers of the AFC.

Back to Action
What an Olympics, am I right?! The 2026 Winter Games in Milan saw the NHL players participate for the first time in a dozen years, and regarding the Colorado Avalanche, eight of our players were in Milan representing five countries. Six of the eight left Milan with medals. Artturi Lehkonen and Joel Kiviranta received Bronze Medals representing Finland. Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, and Devon Toews received Silver Medals representing Canada, and Brock Nelson received a Gold Medal representing the United States.

Power Rangers Review: "The Wedding (Part III)"
This three-part arc began with a trip to Australia for the Rangers turning into the group being teleported to a theater and battling various monsters, while learning at the end of Part I that their powers are kaput inside that place. Part II would see the Rangers learn the true reason for their appearance: Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa are getting married. The Rangers would escape, but their Zord fight would see them defeated due to their power supply being reduced, and they were sent back to the theater.

"Beyond the Gates" Turns One!
It seems like yesterday. It really, truly does. As those who read my stories know, I have had a love-hate relationship with soaps for nearly my entire life; I hate soaps but love their villainesses. I guess I was basically waiting for that perfect soap to finally hit the small screen. One with good angles, one that isn't so over the top, and one with good representation.

Power Rangers Review: "The Wedding (Part II)"
When we last left our heroes, they were vacationing in Australia, with no worries. Seriously, there were no worries. Lord Zedd was about to recharge his evil energies, leaving the Rangers with no emergencies to deal with. However, when one rat sleeps, another creeps in, as Rita Repulsa crash-landed on moon and set her sights on the ultimate takeover. The plan was to dose Zedd with a love potion, marry him, and then overrule him.

Recapping the 2026 Gold Medal Game
February 22, 1980. Every American knows that date. Every diehard hockey fan knows that date. The ragtag American team took the ice at Lake Placid against the heavily favored heavyweight Soviet Union team. Against all odds, the US won that game, 4-3, and made the career of this announcer named Al Michaels, who spouted the famous, "Do you believe in miracles?!" line. The US went on to defeat Finland to win the Gold Medal.

Three Actresses, Two Faces, One Memorable Character: A Look at Neely Capshaw
In all of my stories about Cobra Kai, I've said that watching that show back in September 2023 helped me get through an illness I had. It was around Labor Day Weekend that I was watching that awesome show, and it was at that same time that I was sick to the point where I thought I had COVID for the second time (I first caught it on November 1, 2022). So yeah, Cobra Kai was a show that helped. It wasn't the only one.

The Terrific and Stellar Career of Eric Dane
On February 19, 2006, viewers and fans of ABC's hit series, Grey's Anatomy, were introduced to Dr. Mark Sloan, who was dubbed with the famous nickname, "McSteamy," by many fans. Eric Dane played this amazing character beginning with that evening's episode, "Yesterday," which was the 18th episode of the show's second season.

Reviewing "Strong Medicine"
I still remember when Lifetime had their share of original series about a quarter-century ago, and among their shows was Strong Medicine, which had to have been the network's first medical drama. Medical dramas had been a big thing for decades, but during my lifetime, somewhere wedged between NBC's long-running hit, ER, and the current longer-running ABC series, Grey's Anatomy, Lifetime gave us the subject this review, Strong Medicine.

A Stern, Yet Heartfelt Letter to Maple Leafs Fans
To any fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs, I have this to say: I hope it was worth it. I tried to tell you. I begged the Leafs not to do this. But on June 30, 2025, they did it. They actually traded Mitch Marner. Second-in-command on the Leafs for years, and they dealt him away. Even worse, they traded him for Nicolas Roy. Oh boy. I've said this before in past Vocal stories. I'm an Avalanche fan, not a Maple Leafs fan. However, I consider myself a sympathizer of the Maple Leafs because the team has been ridiculed for their long Stanley Cup drought, mainly by fans of teams who never won one. Those same fans call the Maple Leafs "choke artists," forgetting the fact that teams like the Oilers blow it much worse.
