crest and break over me; drown me in redemption elusive peace, found.
quick blue wink, attempt at normalcy; “give it here.” gun kisses my cheek.
the blue rabies tag was a mere fabrication; now, my mouth, foaming.
turquoise, transfigured, breathless cloud currents swiftly carry me to pain.
gravity has lost. no power in the midnight realm; even fish fly.
raindrop ornaments cling in perfect stillness to delay their demise.
rise, moon, and whisper in my seashell-ear; carry the world’s blue secrets.
the world turns blue in January; muted grief, inexplicable.
nail beds should be pink. my heart’s deficiency, shown in blue-tinged half-moons.
slate grey cloud blanket rumbles halfheartedly; small blue circle peeks out.
blue and white china your family heirloom. I throw it down, weeping.
