i've forgotten your comforting hue; slay the rain beast, come, remind me.

why are they called "blues?" blue is hopeful, sadness is unrelenting grey.
nature's first green may be gold, but her last hope will be blue's magnitude.
give me a blue sky, a glass of wine, a good book; I'll remember me.
indigo ochre painted defiance of death Nile, balance his heart.
ancient mosaic tells the world's same stories; none are unique or pure.
rarity begets value; I know you're precious but not to my taste.
cunning ocean's soul, drag me down, return that which you hid in blue depths.
caress and console break over me once again, cleanse with whitecapped hands.
never has there been such loneliness in midst of interconnection.
you know I hate it, so you crumble extra on the dinner we share.
you instilled in me a lifelong yearning to seek blue Narnian seas.
