I live in Oxfordshire, England. I used to write a lot of fan fiction and mainly just write poetry now. I've been to over 20 countries and written many books. I'm currently working on a horror story called Heavenly Seas.

21 Bands I Love
Having been forced to isolate again in 2021, I found more time for writing. Didn’t do as much as planned due to exhaustion but now I’ve recovered from COVID, I can start writing again. I know too tens are popular but I thought I could do a top 21 list of bands since we are in 2021 now. This list is in no particular order. My tastes have changed a lot over the years but there’s some bands that have remained in my top 20 for years. If I made this list fifteen years ago, there would been mainly pop, R&B and the occasional indie band here and there.

Tristania Albums Ranked
Vibeke Stene's new band, Veil of Secrets dropped a new album in November and I thought it was really good. It reminded me so much of the earlier Tristania albums and I had a list of things I wanted to write and ranking Tristania albums was on there. They're one of my favourite bands and even though they've been on a hiatus for a while, I really hope they release some new music next year.

Garbage Albums Ranked
One of the first songs I bought on iTunes for my iPod Classic was #1 Crush by Garbage. I had stumbled across it on Youtube and fell in love with Shirley Mason's sultry vocals. The moaning in the track's introduction is a great touch to the song and helps make the song sound sexy—the depth of the lyrics and hard-hitting music. Listening to the song makes me think of the '90s now. The 1990s brought a renaissance to many music genres, particularly grunge and bubblegum pop. Garbage, in my opinion, falls into neither of those categories. Garbage is a great rock band with an alternative flavour.

Dear 2021
Dear 2021, First of all, I think there is a lot that I and the rest of the world want to say to you. I think you already know that there are high expectations for you. I must confess that I have many questions and pray that 2021 will give me the answers. I have so many wishes left unfulfilled in 2020 that I hope you don't get too overwhelmed. Last year was anything but a bed of roses. We all hope that 2021 will be a wonderful year. The year that businesses can return to normal. Wanderers can travel again. I feel in 2021, and you will be the year where people will have a party to end all parties. I hope that you won't give me anymore more heartache this year.

2020 Soundtrack
2020 has been a challenging year for all. The pandemic has been compared to both world wars and all the other health pandemics before them. With a new vaccine on the way, there is a message of hope. Until the vaccine becomes safe and available to all, the world works on becoming tighter neighbours and some people have done whatever it took bring smiles to those less fortunate.

Britney Spears has been the centre of attention ever since she released her first single, ...baby one more time. She's been the leading figure of modern-day pop music. With an array of chart successes under her belt, it is also a sign that even with all the money and fame in the world does not stop you from suffering from mental health issues.

Within Temptation Albums Ranked
I’ve got a list of bands that I love and Within Temptation are very close to the top. All seven of their studio albums offer something very different that you wouldn’t find on any other albums that much. They were never as popular as some of the chart bands, but their loyal fan base and great music is enough to get them noticed. Whatever type of metal or rock they sing, one thing that remains the same is Sharon’s amazing vocals. The harmonies from Mother Earth and The Silent Force and Sharon’s vocals made me fall in love with the band.

Nightwish Albums Ranked
Nightwish albums are difficult to rank. They’re one of my favourite bands in the world of rock and metal. No matter where and how I rank my album taste it will cause a fight over the best singer. If I say Tarja is the best, they say it's just nostalgia. If I say Annette is the best, I get branded a fake metal fan. If I say Floor, they’ll say I’m a traitor for not supporting the original line-up. Most of the rivalry is created by fans.

My Pokémon Confessions
Weather you’ve played Pokémon since generation one, or you’ve picked it up in later generations, we were all beginners at one point. We’ve all made mistakes and done things that most people in the Pokémon community would think is either weird or not acceptable. Whether you love it or hate it when musicians cover other artists songs, it's been a long-going tradition ever since the music industry begun. Covers are everywhere through Youtube videos, karaoke nights and your local church session. There are good covers and bad covers. A good cover will bring a whole new life into a song like Placebo's cover of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill. It can even make people forget that it's a cover at all like Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2 U.

Bento Boxes & Green Tea
I love Asian cuisine. If done well, it's healthy, fresh and creates epic combination of tastes that triggers all six senses. I love Japanese food the most, even though it's quite expensive in the UK. I was so happy when they first opened Banbury's first Japanese Restaurant. It really brought something great to the high street. Before, I would be going to Oxford or Birmingham to go to Japanese restaurants. To make it even better it's not from home. Because of lockdown, I haven't been in, but they are open for delivery and it is being renovated.
