Replika
Introduction If you like games such as Sims or Tomodachi life, then I think you will enjoy this app. I can see the appeal this app will have. The fear of technology taking over your life is also an understandable one too. I think a lot of people use Replika to create their ideal date and chat with them. The app is a free download, but a lot of their features are premium. The idea that you can start a relationship with a fictional avatar for £43 a year is crazy. I can’t see myself ever wanting to pay for this, but I’d be interested to see what the video chat with your avatar would look and sound like. You might be wondering why I downloaded it? I thought it would be a fun way to interact with my original characters.

What They Don’t Tell You About Care Work
Care work is advertised as being hard work, but also rewarding. Stock pictures of the elderly laughing and smiling and having a piece of mind that everything is sorted for you. When browsing through job advertisement, so many jobs are care work. I still get many messages from care companies encouraging me to apply to work for them, even ones far away from me. People might come to care work thinking it’s all about wiping bums and making cups of tea. There is so much more to the job than that.

Found in Translation
How I got translated as an indie author I was always curious what my work would look like in another language. I wasn’t aware of the options available until I found Babelcube. Then I also discovered Tektime and Fiberead through social media. These three sites follow the same system: you up.pad your work, wait for it to be picked up by a translator then it will hopefully be published in your chosen language. The standards of the translations are exactly the same between these three sites. The only difference is the facilities.

Here’s 5 Eco-Friendly Channels I’ve Subscribed To
2022 has become the year I will change the way I spend and save. I have a low income, so writing and charity grants have been extremely helpful during these testing times. 2021 became the year I made the pledge not to eat meat anymore. In previous posts I have made the pledge to have a more plant-based diet. Like all of us, I want to increase my earnings, and I also want to reduce my spending too.

It All Starts With Me
It’s been nearly sixty years since Martin Luther King Jr. declared that he dreamed a dream. No more segregation or discrimination. He was assasinated in 1968, but his words and legacy still lives on. With all the social movements going around, his speech had never been so relevant.
