Victoria and Ashland bond over their children on 'The Young and the Restless'
On Monday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Victoria Newman brings out a kinder gentler side of the Lockness monster. Prior to his showing up in Genoa City there was a build up for how big, bad, and bold this man is. Viewers expected a take no prisoners, fire breathing dragon and initially that’s seemed to be true. Tara gave everyone the impression that her husband was an evil ogre and Summer was frightened out of her mind worrying about what he would do when he found out about Kyle and Tara's affair.

The first time my heart was broken
When I was 8 years old the church I attended sent the youth to a summer camp at a church in a nearby town. A yellow school bus picked up about 20 of us Monday through Friday and we went to a center that was located next to the church in the other town. One day we went on a field trip to Mill Mountain and there was a long winding uphill drive that terrified me. I looked out the window and thought we were going to fall over the side and die.

'The Young and the Restless' fans believe Victoria is up to no good
A number of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have been vocal recently about their dislike for Victoria Newman. Viewers believe she is devious and up to something where Billy and Lily are concerned. Vicki brought them housewarming gifts but the look on her face was anything but sincere. When Billy was dating Phyllis his ex did not go out of her way to pretend she was OK with the relationship because she did not believe it would last. She obviously believes Bil-ly has potential because she is paying so much attention to them.

They’re coming to take me away (ha ha)
There was a one hit wonder recording in i1966 that made it to number 3 on Billboards top 100 chart that in today’s cancel culture might be considered inappropriate. The song was by Jerrold "Jerry" Samuels who was born on May 3 1938. The singer, songwriter and producer.used the pseudonym Napoleon XIV, for his novelty song "They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!" There is no singing only spoken rhyme and the musical number nstruments consist of a snare drum, tambourine , and hand claps. The B side of the record is simply the A side played in reverse.

Grieving 101: When the tears won't stop
In a few days it will be 3 months since my husband passed away and today was a rough day. I have cried practically the entire day for various reasons. My 90 year old neighbor across the street passed away yesterday and my last memory of her is what triggered my tears. Two weeks ago an ambulance took her to the hospital on a rainy Sunday and I knew she would not return home. Instead of placing her on a stretcher as they had at other times, the paramedics brought her out of her home in a blanket.
