'General Hospital' cast and crew take a break
GENERAL HOSPITAL BLOG is reporting that the cast and crew of the ABC daytime drama are currently on a hiatus. This has not been reported by any other news outlets but the spoiler quotes Chad Duell who portrays Michael Corinthos as the one who is breaking the news. Duell did not say when the break began or when it will end. He did share that the cast and crew go through a demanding and high paced five day work week.

Anna and Jason help Finn and Liz on GENERAL HOSPITAL
On Friday's GENERAL HOSPITAL cliffhanger Finn and Liz were about to unburden themselves regarding Peter August, Spoilers indicate that next week they will tell all to Anna and Jason. When they decide to work together the foursome will be in for a surprise as spoilers tease that Peter's body might be missing. Its not clear if all four will go to the hospital basement or if Jason and Anna will do it together.

Widowhood can be lonely
I joined several widow support groups on social media and have begun to notice a growing trend. I began seeing more posts about advice for moving on than I did about dealing with current feelings of grief. When I questioned the shift in focus in one group, I received a number of hateful responses so I deleted myself. I said I thought the group was for sharing feelings of grief and not about dating. A widower said he thought dating issues should be in a different group so he got it. Everyone else who responded said I was too extreme and they all wanted to know there was hope and they could be happy again.

Barney Fife was two-timing Thelma Lou
Hindsight truly is 20/20 when it comes to THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW and deputy Barney Fife. Some fans of the television series are just now picking up on things that others caught during the sitcom's original run from 1960-1968. In the very first season Sheriff, Andy Taylor's right-hand man exposes himself as a cheater. It was done subtly and no one called him out on it. He proudly proclaimed that Thelma Lou was his girl but there was another woman that Barney was stepping out with on the sly.

Kirsten Storms is off for an indefinite about of time from 'General Hospital'
SOAP OPERA DIGEST is reporting that Kirsten Storms is officially temporarily off from GENERAL HOSPITAL. Viewers should keep in mind that although Maxie Jones said goodbye to baby Louise this past week that episodes of the ABC soap are taped in advance. This means that Storms had already begun her leave of absence prior to her character leaving Port Charles. Maxie is headed to Texas where her mother Felicia is caring for an aging aunt.

Chloe and Billy need to get over Adam
It’s been eight years since Billy and Chloe’s daughter Delia was struck down by Adam Newman. A lot has changed in Genoa City since 2013 but one fact remains. Billy and Chloe's hatred for Adam continues to motivate their actions. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has done a great job at redeeming the bad boy Newman in recent months. He rescued his niece Faith from the accident after she drove Victor's truck into a tree while drunk. Adam then saved her life by becoming her organ donor. He was even fo a short period trying to fight his feelings for Sharon and suggested that she and Rey work out their marital problems.

The Haves and Have Nots fans are overwhelmingly disappointed with the series ending.
The series finale of THE HAVES AND THE HAVES NOTS has left many fans very disturbed. Tyler Perry has been increasing the violence over the 8 year run of the popular show and Neilson ratings indicate that viewership was down over 1 million from season 7. The only person left standing was Hannah and she will probably end up in jail or a mental health facility. Wyatt Cryer died of a drug overdose and his mother Katherine was strangled on her jail cell. David and Jeffrey were blown up by a bomb and Benny and Veronica were gunned down. Candace was drowned by Jim who was run over by Hannah with her vehicle.

Mariah finally surfaces on The Young and the Restless
Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have had one burning question during the past few weeks that may be soon answered. Everyone is wondering what happened to Mariah who has not been seen in any recent episodes. Viewers have been drawing their own conclusions as up to this point nothing has been revealed in the storyline that even offers a reliable clue. Marla Gibbs reunited with Jackee Harry on DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Iconic comedic actress Marla Gibbs showed up in Salem when she was cast as the mother of Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) on NBC’s DAYS OF OUR LIVES. The 90 year old Gibbs portrays Olivia Price and she is full of as much sass as Mary Jenkins when she was on 227. On the NBC hit series Gibbs and Harry were neighbors who lived in the same apartment complex. This will be a reunion for the actresses who worked together as Mary Jenkins and Sandra Clark on the sitcom

John Anniston turns 87
Happy 87th birthday to John Anniston whose special day is July 24. For the past 36 years, he has been wowing soap fans as one of the most powerful men on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. The actor portrays Victor Kiriakis, who has been second to none except perhaps at times to Stefano Dimera. Victor started out in Salem as a behind the scenes sponor of a local drugs-and-prostitution ring, Eventually it was revealed that Victor was a full-fledged mobster, and his son Bo Brady was working for the Salem PD which was a conflict. Bo as well as Victor's daughter Isabella atr both deceased.

On 'The Young and the Restless' Kyle's suspicions might lead to a trip to the LA fashion world
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A POSSIBLE OUTCOME THAT IS BEING EXPLORED AND NOT A GUARANTEE On Wednesday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers were happy to see that Kyle Abbott was questioning Sally Spectra. He has no reason at this point to suspect Tara but his questions to the woman who wants his dad may lead somewhere. Kyle mentioned how Sally ended up with Summer's job and that his fiance left for Italy shortly after Ms. Spectra made a trip to the LA fashion world.
