Watching 'Baki' Season 1 Part 2
If you have already read my piece on the first half of the season, you would know how I feel about it. For those of you that have not, I was less than impressed with the presentation of the show. That being said, there was a certain allure to the show that made me count down the days till the remainder was dropped on Netflix. Having now watched the remaining 13 episodes, my opinion of the show has been completely turned around.

Watching 'Ouran High School Host Club'
Ouran High School Host Club is a 2006 anime that was produced by studio Bones. The same studio behind Mob Psycho 100, My Hero Acadamia, and Zetsuen No Tempest. The show is based on the manga that ran from 2002 till 2010, created by Bisco Hatori, consisting of eighty-seven chapters, collected over eighteen volumes. The show was directed by Takuyo Igarashi, who also directed Bungou Stray Dogs, Soul Eater, and was one of the episode directors of Mushishi. The anime adaptation consists of twenty-six episodes.

Watching 'Mob Psycho 100 II'
Mob Psycho 100 II is the 2019 sequel series to Mob Psycho 100, which aired in the summer of 2016. Both seasons are directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, who also directed Death Parade, and was the assistant director of Terror in Resonance. Like season one, the show was produced by the renowned studio Bones. Mob Psycho 100 is based off of one of the webmanga that is created by One, the man behind One Punch Man. The manga ran from 2012 to 2017, a story that is told across 109 chapters, and 16 volumes. The second season consists of thirteen episodes.

Watching 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime'
That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime, is a 2018-19 anime that was produced by 8bit studios. The same studio behind, IS: Infinite Stratos, and Absolute Duo. The series is based off of a manga what is written by Fuse, and drawn by Taiki Kawakami. The manga has been running since 2015. The show is directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi, who also directed IS: Infinite Stratos, and was one of the episode directors of the 2000 adaptation of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Golden Boy. The show consists of 25 episodes, with a second season being greenlit for a 2020 release.

Watching 'Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War'
Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is the 2019 anime adaptation of the currently ongoing manga of the same name. The manga started its run in Young Jump in 2015, and is written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. The anime was produced by A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Sword Art Online, Erased, and Blue Exorcist to name a few of their works. The series was directed by Shinichi Omata, who also directed Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. Kaguya-Sama: Love is War ran for twelve episodes in the winter season of anime in 2019.

Watching 'Boogiepop and Others'
Boogiepop and Others is the 2019 anime adaptation of the series of light novels that is written by Kouhei Kadono. The first light novel was released in 1998, and since then twenty sequel novels have been written. In that time Boogiepop has had a manga adaptation, a live action film in 2000, and two anime adaptations; one in the winter season of 2000, and the latest one in the winter season of 2019. Both anime adaptations were handled by studio Madhouse. The studio behind shows such as Death Note, One Punch Man, and Parasyte The Maxim. The series was directed by Shingo Natsume, who prior to this project directed the first season of the fantastic One Punch Man. The 2019 adaptation of Boogiepop and Others ran for 18 episodes.

Watching 'The Promised Neverland'
The Promised Neverland is the 2019 adaptation of the Shonen Jump manga that is written by Kaiu Shirai with art by Posuka Demizu. The series was produced by the recently established CloverWorks studios, who also produced the previous seasons of, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, and also co-produced Darling in the FranXX with studio Trigger. The series was directed by Mamoru Kanbe, who also directed Elfen Lied, and was one of the episode directors of Baccano! The first season consists of twelve episodes with a second season having been announce at the time of this writing.

Watching Spring 2019 Anime
This is a follow up piece to the prior article including my list of what I plan on watching this anime season. The series that I am continuing from last season is Dororo, and a late addition is The Rise of the Shield Hero. Now that the majority of first episodes are out in their respective streaming sites, the final list of shows that I will be watching is, Fruits Basket, One Punch Man Season Two, and Kimetsu no Yaiba on Crunchyroll, followed by Fairy Gone, RobiHachi, and Shoumetsu Toshi on Funimation. Fruits Basket is available on both services. While Attack on Titan will be added to the list at the end of the month when it airs on the 29th, there are two shows I am unable to watch this season. Ao-Chan Can’t Study, and Carole & Tuesday. Ao-Chan Can't Study is exclusively streaming on HiDive, and I have already shared my thoughts on Carole & Tuesday being on Netflix in the previous article.

My Lukewarm Dissatisfaction of the Release of Seasonal Anime on Netflix
Let us talk about Netflix. To be more particular, anime on Netflix. While Netflix does have an impressive lineup of classic anime, and modern high profile anime ranging from Cowboy Bebop, to Samurai Champloo, to One Punch Man and everything in between. How they treat ongoing series, is an absolute travesty.

Watching 'My Roommate is a Cat'
My Roommate is a Cat is a slice of life comedy, that aired in the winter season of 2019. The show was produced by relatively new studio, Zero-G, that was established in 2011. Their first animation was Battery The Animation, and was also responsible for the TV adaptation of Dive!!. The series was directed by Kaoru Suzuki, who also directed Dive!!, and was an episode director for Inuyasha, Prince of Tennis, and Psycho-Pass. My Roommate is a Cat is based off of a currently ongoing manga, written by Tunami Minatuki, with the art being done by As Futatsuya, published in Comics Polaris. The anime ran for 12 episodes in total.

Watching 'Run with the Wind'
Run with the Wind is the 2018 anime adaptation of the 2006 novel by Shion Miura. The adaptation was produced by Production IG, directed by Kazuya Nomura, who also directed the 2015 Ghost in the Shell film, and Robotics;Notes. The show consists of 23 episodes, which came to a conclusion on the 26th of March 2019. In addition to the novel and the anime adaptation, there is also a manga adaptation of the story, which consists of 50 chapters collected over the course of six volumes. This piece will take a look at the recently concluded anime.
