What Is Forgiveness? Psychologists generally define forgiveness as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.

When Life Changes The Route
“Mom,” Halle Mason asked her mother, Janet, as they left their home at 5:45 a.m. on Saturday to go to the market. “Why do you love going to the market on Saturdays? It’s hectic and packed with people who work Monday to Friday. There is no space to move around. It’s worse than traffic in LA at rush hour on a Friday evening.”

Blame Is Lighter When Shared
The Bible says, ‘teach the child the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.’ Steven Orr stared at his mother, reading her expression after the verdict was read. Her facial expression showed nothing, no regret, no sorrow, no love, no remorse, no shock. Her emotions were empty, devoid of sympathy. Staring deeper into her eyes, he saw an empty soul. A soul without understanding, curiosity, nothing that showed she was sorry for the death sentence handed down by a jury of twelve to her only son.

Suicide And Laughter— Can laughter heal what words can’t?
Do you believe laughter can heal something words can’t? Tears rattled Sofie’s body from deep within as she staggered towards the window, after grabbing a chair from around the small oval table nearby. Pushing the pink lace curtain to her left, then opening the window, staring down more than two hundred feet from the tenth floor. ‘Maybe death is better than this?’ a voice asked from the depths within her.

I know life is a fight, and I must never stop fighting.

Kindness Is Delicious!
Mine was delicious, and all of them stayed with me as the many delicious foods I enjoyed and shared. This is my breakfast today. It’s Green Plantian porridge. It’s made with dates, almonds, old-fashioned oats, vanilla powdered soy milk, a pinch of salt, and sweetened with magnolia condensed milk. That slice of whole wheat bread is homemade. It’s made with fresh homemade coconut milk, extra virgin olive oil, raisins, prunes, cranberries, and apricots, flavored with vanilla, almond essence, cinnamon, and shredded coconut pieces on the outside.

Do You Start With Big Dreams — Or Smaller Ones?
Anna Myles was excited that her Alma mater chose her to give a victory speech to the graduating class of 2025. She eased on stage, dressed in cool, calm, pastel pink from head to toes. The pink on her toenails glistens as the sunlight sneaks through the sunroof and touches her toes, comfortably resting in pink leather sandals.

Barren Kindness
I enjoy watching the sun as it sets. So do many humans worldwide. Image by Annelise Lords As I sat enjoying the sun, biding goodbye to my side of the world after a hard day’s work, a soft female voice nearby said, in the type of pain I could comprehend and feel as if it were my own, “I got home two hours ago, and there was nothing inside our home for you. You are leaving me?”
