A Journey of Transformation: From Novice to Seasoned Storyteller
Every writer has a humble beginning, a starting point that marks the initiation of their creative journey. For me, it was the first piece I ever wrote, a simple composition that now stands as a testament to my growth as a storyteller. In this introspective piece, we will delve into the emotions, message, and essence of that initial creation and contrast it with my present-day style and perspective as a writer. Join me on this nostalgic journey of growth and rediscovery as we celebrate the art of storytelling.

My First Story was a Nightmare. Top Story - September 2023.
My first story came from a strange place and I hope I am not alone in this. It wasn't from a book, although, in part, one of the greatest science fiction novelists, had his hand in it. The idea didn't come from a movie or video game either. It all started in 18 years ago in the back seat of my mom's red Dodge Durango.

My First Story
The first story I ever written started back in college of the year 2018. I was bored one day in my dorm room and had absolutly nothing to do, so I began a random google search on the topic of pickpocketing. During my search, I discovered the many techniques thiefs use to steal wallets and the types of scams they use on the vunrable. The one scam that peaked my interest was called the 419 advadnced free fraud that originated in Nigeria. The concept of the scam is to pretend to be someone your not in order to gain trust from the victem and have them send you money over and over again. After watching videos and reading stories about it, an idea popped into my head about the scam. I started analyze the story and coming up character names while continuing my research. After gathering all the information I needed, I got my notebook and began to write.

The Tapestry of Life
I In a quaint village nestled between rolling hills and meandering rivers, there lived an elderly woman named Eliza. Known far and wide as the village's most skilled weaver, she had mastered the art of creating the most exquisite tapestries the world had ever seen. However, what set Eliza's tapestries apart from all the others was not their intricacy or grandeur but rather the heartfelt stories they wove together—the stories of everyday life.

From First Cringy Blog Post to Winning Prizes
Did you ever write F*** all over a page? Big, bright bold letters etched so hard onto the paper that they almost scored right through? Call it Eternal Anger of a Teenage Mind on a Spotless Page. I like to view that as my first foray into flash fiction. A lot said with the utmost brevity.
