The Beauty of Gratitude in a world full of Cynicism
The beauty of gratitude in a world full of cynicism Ever acquainted with the phrase that the world that you exist in, the life that you embody dwells in the perception of the stance you hold for yourself. The beauty and the tragedy of life is that it is as beautiful as the optimistic lens of perception and as ugly as the pessimistic view of your being. The strive of our endeavours and the constant effort to achieve the next massive milestone often drive us to the edges of insanity, to be in the consistent light of greatness we lose sight of the great strings of joy that bind our existence together. To be the best we have ever been we must be mindful of the best we are. Coinciding in the traps of negativity and yet claiming to be the best version of yourself is a blinding truth that lies to only you. Acceptance of what was and what is the only path that will lead you to what it is that you are meant to be.

Week 7 of Write a Story Every Day in 2024
As I'm writing this stacked post for the stories that I've written this week, I have reached 50 stories and I am feeling pretty pleased with myself. Still on course to complete this challenge and I wonder if I am forming a habit for the future, one where I write something every day. It's been good for me, this challenge. I'm stretching my brain every day. I like it.

Well, how did I get here? β Talking Heads Itβs a big moment, to be sure. 1,000 reads. 1,000 times that someone else thought something I wrote on this wild site we call Vocal was worth sticking around to the end. And with all that brainpower expended, I find myself with the official $6.00 USD that was promised for every 1,000 reads that is what makes Vocal+ so exciting.

The university of Nairobi
Nestled in the heart of Nairobi city, Kenya, the University of Nairobi (UoN) stands as a pillar of education and scholarly excellence in East and Central Africa. Established in 1956, it boasts a rich history and vibrant campus life, attracting students not only from Kenya but across the continent and beyond. For example, it is the first and the only university in Kenya to have a school president of an international student i.e. Monica Malith, a South Sudanese law student.
