Are Cruises Worth It?
I had a BIG summer last year. In June, I went to Disney World in Orlando, then immediately after drove to Miami with three other family members to depart on my first cruise. Then in July I spent three weeks in Europe. I have to say, the easiest of all three was my Carnival cruise. Yes, you know, the famous cruise line that pretty much everyone knows about? I, like most first timers, was apprehensive considering I am an explorer when I travel. But now, almost a year later, I can reflect back and say I truly had a great time and my cruise judgments were broken. I promise to give a 100% honest review of the good and the bad, but mostly the good.

Walt Disney
Many people in my life have asked me why I always return to Disney World, why I don’t spend my holidays in another destination, why Disney, what is so special about that place that makes you return every single time you get the chance. When I get to the moment of answering those questions, I usually use a cliché “IT’S A MAGICAL PLACE.” I know, it sounds as if those word come from a travel magazine, but it is true, it is not a lie. When you go there, you will discover magic, innocence, dreams coming to life, and a place where being in a bad mood is not a possibility.

Traveling Simplistically
I have found no greater joy in life than taking time off from school, work, and my everyday hustle and bustle to drop everything, but a suitcase of clothes and the travel bug, and explore. Simplicity seems to be the only way to find my way back to how I want to spend my days on this Earth.

Bangkok 101
Two years ago, I decided that winter in Toronto was too damned cold for too damned long, and I scratched an itch that I had long had and spent two months traveling around Southeast Asia. Of all the places I visited in those two months—and there were a lot of them—Bangkok was my favourite (I'm a city mouse, not a beach bunny, what can I say). And so I have come back every year since, and will continue to do so. I can't count how many times I did something that made me feel (and probably look) a complete and utter fool when I first got here. So I am sharing with you here a few tips, in no particular order, for navigating this huge, smelly, dirty, cool, amazing city. To date, I have never seen any of these covered in any guide book.
