Roads
Introduction Every picture here is from walks I have made and roads that I have seen. Often they are the only sign of human habitation, and I wonder why they were built, obviously to connect two places, but when you are on these roads, or when I am, lots of stories come to mind taking me into some magical mythical worlds although the reality may be a lot more mundane.

Tea and Cookies
I am hundreds of thousands of miles above civilization, flying economy. I was randomly assigned a window seat, so by chance, I am observing tonight's sunset through my scratched window. The orange hue sprawls across the land, seeping across the horizon like a watercolor. City lights flick on sporadically. Soon, they will light up the sky in lieu of the sun. The flight attendant comes down the aisle to offer drinks and snacks. I know I'll be up all night from the caffeine, but all I can think is, screw it - I'm having tea and cookies tonight.
