5 Great Things About Ypsilanti, Michigan
Ypsilanti is a small city in Southeast Michigan. Some call it Ann Arbor East, but that could not be further from the truth. Ypsi (as it is affectionately known) has its own vibe and culture that is very different from its more famous neighbor. It even has its own university, Eastern Michigan University. Maybe the football team isn't as fearsome as the Wolverines, but they're ours.

Why Choose Domestic Travel?
While global travel is appealing and enticing, domestic travel has its charm. With the current scenario of the world, global travel has never been so limited as many countries enforce rigorous travel standards and even closing their borders to non-essential travel. As the world is slowly opening from being closed and isolated for months, people are getting more ecstatic to check out and travel again. Lots of are now shifting to domestic travel as it is more convenient based on the existing circumstance. The travel industry suffered a lot because of recent occasions, and people beginning to go out more can help travel-related businesses during these trying times. Part VII : Memorable Plattsburgh Moments that Extend to New York City
I was recently reading an article about Seinfeld and how we should stop embracing the 90s comedy for its sheer insensitivity. Horrible people the article droned on but the show was actually providing real social commentary. I know because I was there in 1989-90, and living on East 83rd Street with three of my college buddies, we were young, selfish and only looking out for ourselves. Sorry, that's what young people do. Of course, we perfected those skills in Plattsburgh, and we were proud to bring them to NYC before Seinfeld cornered the market.

2021 Travel
Let's just all come to terms that 2020 has been a total nightmare. I am a traveler. I love my visits back to my home state of California, which is currently in the middle of a COVID bomb. I can't go home to see my family, because they are prime candidates for COVID. Covid is like, "Hey, let's go check out Stacy's dad. He's got a ton of health issues, he would be a perfect place to put up shop."

Washington DC on Film
Washington DC with all its grand monuments and stately architecture has always been a preferred setting for films over the decades. Over 200 movies of various categories, not simply political and historic films, have chosen to include much of the city's landmarks in their renowned scenes. For many, their first take a look at the United States capital is through a movie. Though much of the scenes in these movies were shot on sets recreating the exteriors of the country's capital and the interior of its structures, any movie enthusiast will still marvel and be surprised seeing the actual structures that made a few of these movie scenes remarkable. Chasing these sites seen in motion pictures and recreating a few of the scenes can be an enjoyable activity for your next family reunion in Washington DC.

The Island of Maui
I flew into Maui about a decade ago... It was an especially memorable time, here's why... The way the airport check-in staff look at you when they see your destination printed on the luggage tag. Believe me when I say that it can be a very jealous look; or perhaps even a look of envy. It might even make you laugh a little inside. This is especially the case if it happens to be the middle of winter (at a brisk twenty-five degrees below zero outside) when they catch of glimpse of your tag. Even still, you have the (roughly) six-hour flight over the pacific ocean, so don't get too excited just yet. This flight is made especially fun when you encounter delays or turbulence. Yet, when you’re trying to guess the halfway point (in nautical miles) between the mainland and the island — which, the pilot encourages, to keep the mood light and cheerful — there is an unmistakable air of adventure...

Travel Alaska
When most people think of Alaska, they think of the Northern Lights, icy glaciers, and bears. There are a lot more things in Alaska that people don’t know about. As America’s 49th state, Alaska has a lot of history, and adventure, for those hoping to make a trip in the future.

My Beach Getaway
I’m blessed to have grown up in a family that traveled a lot. My parents both grew up in Saskatchewan and moved to Ontario for their occupations. All of their family stayed out west. Every other summer my family would pack up to drive out west. I have a lot of fond memories of those trips. My Dad was a University Mathematics professor and had to attend annual conventions. My siblings and I knew from the start that these family road trips ended when we got to the upper grades of high school. Some of the destinations I got to see were Disneyland, the Indy 500, and The Grand Ole Opry. The first time I ever went on a plane ride was an unforgettable experience. I was with a singing group that summer. We’d already traveled from British Columbia to Ontario by bus. They saved the best for the last week and a half of the summer in Brazil. My first flight was from Calgary to Brazil. Although I was a nervous wreck for my first flight, in time it became an adrenaline rush. Now when I plan a trip to a destination that I’m flying to, I count the number of days until I get to depart.
