Touring Antarctica
If you’re like me you might not believe it, because I prefer tropical warmth to the cold, but Antarctica has become one of the world’s current popular tourist destinations. There are now over 34,000 people who travel to this icy cold land. However, you must be aware of the fact that all of the activity there is heavily regulated by the Antarctica Treaty in order to protect the environment. All of the tourism going on is mostly managed by the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators or IAATO.

What's on Your Bucket List?
A 'bucket list' comes from the phrase 'to kick the bucket.' Kicking the bucket means to die. That phrase has a couple of possible origins, one of which could be that 'bucket,' in that context, referred to a beam from which a pig was hung before slaughter.

Your Guide to the Ultimate Fall Staycation
I'm not going to talk about how much I enjoy the fall season, because my Pinterest shows my love all too well for everyone. One thing I don't usually talk about is how tight money is during this time of the year. It isn't due to making less money, but more the number of holidays and family outings that happen during the fall and winter months. With recipes to prepare, gifts given out, and decorating the house, there isn't much money left for other excursions. We still need a vacation during the colder months. I usually take two weeks off each year; one to a new place around the world, and another in the comfort of my own home.

Rattlesnake Canyon
A good scare is worth a thousand words of advice. It brings us to attention. Fear is the most worthy opponent of personal success. Inside the ignorance and illusion of fear, the ears, the nose, the eyes, and the mouth simply do not function properly. Whatever gets decided in the face of fear, usually moves us backwards. We simply have to learn to step beyond the outer senses of fear.

One Epic Adventure Experience: The Real Great Wall of China
The best adventure experience in Beijing, and possibly all of China, is the Great Wall. Everyone has heard about it, and everyone who has traveled to China has probably visited it, but few people have ever truly experienced it.

Wekiwa Springs, Florida
A few months ago my cousin decided to join the navy. But before she left we decided to start completing as many bucket list events as possible in the short amount of time that we had before she had to go. And so this is where we start. We decided that the easiest bucket list item was canoeing. But we didn’t want to go to the springs JUST to canoe, so we set up a whole plan. And here’s how it was going to go:

Daydreaming
"The Mountains are Calling and I Must Go…” —John Muir Sticking to getting something done today will be challenging. I have been staring at this quote on my screensaver for about 45 minutes now. The weather outside is cooling down, a bit drizzly to be honest, and my heart is screaming, “IT’S ALMOST TIME…” My brain interrupts, “Stop, concentrate, focus. You have work to do!”

Thru-Hiking Pennsylvania Via the Appalachian Trail
I had been on the Appalachian Trail (AT) for almost 100 days when I finally made it to Pennsylvania. One of the things you hear about since you start the trail is how rocky the Pennsylvania section is. The grapevine that connect the hikers and the hiking community warns about how you are sure to burn through at least one pair of shoes before the Delaware Water Gap (DWG). Many have even given the section a trail name: Rocksylvania, when referring to the "treacherous" trails ahead. Although I agree that there are many rocks, and concede at times they are tiring, I also believe there is so much more offered by the state than just rocks; and it should be recognized. When I look back on this section I don't just see the rocks that constitute the trail. I also notice the Friendly Trail Towns, Access to Cold Water, and Stellar Views. It bothered me that before PA hikers only hear about the rocks, but when you arrive you find so much more. I want to bring to light the 'Much More' to Pennsylvania from the perspective of Mr. Nature.
