Taboo Is Not a Choice
There are certain topics that we often choose not to speak out loud in public. Usually, when we choose this way, sooner or later the topic floats on the surface and becomes public discussion. One of the taboo topics is abortion. This topic is very sensitive, and it has been unspoken for a very long time, due to many reasons. Consequently, there are many uncovered questions remaining. I will try to share my general experience, and look towards this specific topic and provide you with some maybe valuable information and recent statistics.

Abortion
In this article, I will tell you the basics about abortion. We will just be talking about abortion, not miscarriages, which are sometimes called spontaneous abortion. Some people are against it just because they don't understand what an abortion is and why people would get one. I will explain all of that, so let's dive in.

We Have to Stop Stigmatizing Birth Control
Much of the conversation around abortion rights inevitably morphs into a discussion about birth control, and without fail swarms of people in congress (and on Twitter) decide to take it upon themselves to explain why access to certain types (or all types) of birth control should be restricted. This has always baffled me, since abortion medication and birth control are not the same thing, and access to affordable birth control has been proven to reduce abortion rates. Apparently the high of rummaging through people’s medicine cabinets makes that information seem irrelevant.

Freedom Dreaming
I am tired of getting taught. Sometimes I just want to dream. Like who would we be if we didn't dream about how to make life more accessible, more inclusive, more possible for every crevice of our country? As we can see, the direction of our country is in a stuck place. Although we can be hopeful in 2020 that we get a President that is for humanity, and not just personal gain/profits, I find that it is ordinary people that really can keep us all in mind. Sometimes laws, books, and music are all good things. But that is too simple, I don't want to be given the lyrics, the formulas, the "ways that the world is supposed to be."

#MeToo - Strength in Solidarity
After Donald Trump’s Access Hollywood tapes emerged in the days before the US Presidential election in the fall of 2016, and the SOB got elected anyway, a full-blown revolution of women banding together was destined to be born. Trump getting elected and not paying a price for his “alleged” misdeeds helped ensure that eventuality.

Why Don't Women Just Come Forward?
In recent years, there have been many allegations of sexual abuse that allegedly happened in the past, the most recent being Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. This particular incident happened over 30 years ago in which he supposedly groped, grinded on, and held his hand over her mouth. People are wondering why she didn’t come forward sooner. I can only speak from a male perspective of my own.

A Lesson in Feminism and Adult Entertainment for Rudy Giuliani. Top Story - June 2018.
It’s hard to hold my tongue when I hear people, particularly men, claim that a female who has worked in the sex industry is not allowed an opinion, certain rights, or is not a ‘credible’ source of information.
