Goodbye, Donald
Dear Mr. Trump, For the last 4 years, you have proudly held the office as President of the United States. Very outspoken and controversial, you always spoke your mind, regardless of how much backlash you received for it in return. The worst possible hand had been dealt to you during your term but you never folded. There are many people who do not agree with how you have been treated throughout your time in office. Unfortunately, most of them are now being silenced as well and labeled “extremists” (Guynn, 2021).

Dear Donnie
Dear Donnie, I have so many things that I can thank you for, as your white, rich, mentally unstable ass is dragged out of the Oval Office, kicking and screaming like the unhinged toddler that you are. Because of you, I have had to stare racism in the face, acknowledging an ugly history upon which this great nation was built. Your close friends, the Ku Klux Klan members, have been the reigning symbol of hatred in the United States for centuries. There was really no delineation when it came to mainstream “right and wrong”; hate groups were wrong, and the vast majority wanted to be right. In stark opposition, thank you for exposing not only yourself, but the millions of Americans who spew that same toxicity. Racism is a spectrum, and while you haven't blatantly shouted the N-word at Times Square while representing the office, you have shown that you land on the fiercest, angriest, ugliest end of that spectrum. Although, given your history and the things that you HAVE gotten away with, I cannot make myself believe that it would tarnish your reputation with your minions.

Two Covfefe To Go
Six minutes after midnight on May 31, 2017. Do you remember where you were when it happened? You don't want a phone call at that time of night. It's never good news. Same goes with a tweet from a President. Most people are asleep. A good time to press the big red button for a nuclear war.

Dear Donald: So Long, and Thanks for All the Shit
Dear Donald, This is an open letter addressed to you, imagining a world in which you actually cared to read words on a page. Maybe get somebody to read this out to you like the world's worst audiobook? Or like a bedtime story for the world's oldest, brattiest, stupidest infant. Which is you, Donald. I'm talking about you. I'm insulting you explicitly. I'm calling you stupid and bad, because you are, and you know you are, and you like that you are, because that's all you've ever been.

President Trump, I get it.
Tony had his own ideas. His own ideology. His ideas were real. Not far from reality. Just a little bit skewed. He was not a bad guy and he was certainly not a good guy. He cradled the center until he fell from grace. Grace was bestowed upon him by a collective community of members who deemed him as responsible until they deemed him as irresponsible. It was not all his fault but certainly his responsibility to curtail. It was a long time ago when we lived at 900 N. Lake Shore drive in Chicago. Until we fell from grace. It is nearly impossible to return from the small indiscretion as compared to those of so many leaders to follow.

Dear Mr. Trump. First Place in Goodbye Donald Challenge.
Dear Mr. Trump, On this evening, the last of your presidency, I was going to rant, rave and recall everything that has happened under your watch over the last four years. But I shan't do that. You see I write to you exhausted and embarrassed from an apartment in Mexico City. Far from my home town of Los Angeles, I have been able to get some semblance of peace in one of the busiest city in the Americas. The irony doesn't escape me that I came here to get a respite from my own country. You see in the days leading up to the last election I became exhausted. Exhausted is an understatement. The initial depression of your election to the office grew to despair and anger, ennui and contempt. It was a very long four years that I would not wish on another country. So after I was sure that the now President-Elect would be just so, I threw in the towel on the good old US of A, I got a Covid test and boarded the next plane I could find to Mexico City. In your loss of the election, I took some comfort in the fact that the last days of your position were at hand and that every tweet, post or news of your presidency were simply the last vestiges of a crippled water fowl. You would swiftly become irrelevant. Of course now I know I was mistaken. There was no swamp you couldn't foul more as was proven on January 6th and probably until the very moment you leave an office you have stained forever in a country you nearly brought to its knees, you will find a way to sully more, insult to injury, flies to shit. I do have one last question for you Mr. Trump.

The TV Reality Host vs The ex
Dear Donald, I married a version of you many years ago. Nearly 10 years, 2 children, a goldfish and far too many traumatic experiences later, I also fled from it. In a terrifying 2 hour window of time. In a crisis. $350 cash in my pocket. Into hiding, barely able to breathe.

Thank You Mr. Trump, You Did Great.
Dear Donald, I applaud you. No, I don’t intend for that to be taken sarcastically. I one-hundred percent mean it. While some may complain about your narcissism, your bluntness, your egotistical need for extreme validation. Im here to say Thank You and to validate you in a way that no one else probably will.

Goodbye Donald Trump.
To: Mr. Donald Trump Subject: Thank you for your service. “Respected” sir, It is with immense pleasure and hope the world looks at your loss in the election. As the results of the election was announced there was a small glimmer of hope in every heart. A hope so small yet significant, after your wholesome contribution to your country, better yet, the world.
