politics
Politics does not dictate our collective cultural mindset as much as it simply reflects it; We've got to look in the mirror sometimes, and we've got one.
Scottish Tory MPs Vote For Their Careers Against Scotland
What Happened January 17, 2018 showed that Scottish Tory MPs, having huffed and puffed about preserving devolution, decided to vote for preserving their careers. Like good little lap dogs they voted with their mistress, against a Labour amendment that would have preserved devolution as it was defined in 1998. Had they voted the other way, the amendment would have passed. By doing so, they threatened the careers of their counterparts in the Scottish Parliament and made the murder of the Scottish Parliament much more likely.

Is It Fear or Hate?
I believe that I was brought up with an open mind. My parents are two polar opposites in terms of opinion, politics, likes and dislikes, meaning I could always see the other persons point of view, though empathy came when I grew and experienced the world for myself. And one thing I noticed about the inhabitants of our little ball of dirt; why are we always angry about something?

Making America Great?
Let's talk about something that's been bothering me for awhile... Trump's policy on illegal immigrants. Before you get on my tail about how it's a "good thing," how illegal immigrants are "taking our jobs, raping our women, and murdering people," you don't need to read if you don't want to. Go ahead and close the page, but be warned. You'll be forever blinded by ignorance.

The Problem of the Commons
In some ways, the Problem of the Commons forms the core of all liberal philosophy. If the world were different, or the people who live in it different, it would not be a problem. This essay hopes to explain what the issue is, and how it relates to a good portion of what are commonly seen as liberal or progressive political positions in the west.

My Political Views
For one thing, yes, I believe that the above image is definitely the most accurate representation of our current political climate: a random mess of insanity. Even though I do have a somewhat dark view of politics, I believe that there is hope in both the political and justice realms. In fact, if we do it right, there is hope to be found and the people to be served justly.
