How a pandemic could have been managed in India
I am no public health expert but I have studied management and practiced as a Human Resources leader in various corporations and have managed various complex issues within the organizations I have worked for. No doubt that pandemic of COVID-19 is something that is unprecedented in human history. There have been varied opinions about the management of pandemic and it is scattered in a binary unfortunately. Those who like a particular leader feel that he is working hard while his critics, who have an agenda against an innocent man, are unnecessarily furious. Those who have a scientific temper, not tempered by a bias, on the other hand feel that the management of pandemic, was a complete disaster. I tend to agree with the second group. And no, the criticism of the government is not about demeaning India.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, "America First," and dog whistles
Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia congresswoman infamous for mocking survivors of the Parkland school shooting, has scrapped her plans to launch an “America First” caucus. The caucus’ policy platform made a lot of dubious assertions, such as that “recent election results” were the product of “manipulated” voting machines and widespread fraud. Even former president George W. Bush trashed the America First platform, calling it a shortcut to irrelevance.

Police States, Racism, and Pandemonium
The pen is mightier than the sword. And, yet, the wicked hand of the scholar has mislead generations of people into believing whatever they wanted them to. The art of propaganda was indeed just that, an art. It was meant to persuade and influence emotional response because, after all, what is art?

Why Does America Not Want Free Healthcare?
It’s weird to think that many Americans love to use the word God to justify the greatness of this country. However, when President Barrack Obama wanted health care for everyone in the country, most Americans rejected the idea.

Greed Is The Only Currency That Matters In 21st Century Capitalism.
--- We live in extraordinarily perilous times; Our politicians aren't pretending to care anymore about anyone, never mind the most vulnerable, the volatility of the capital markets continues unabated, the gulf between the wealthy and the rest of us, is ever widening and the damage being wrought to our environment, stemming from extreme ecological capitalism is rising, every where you look and turn.

The Monarchy Is Dead.
When the current reigning monarch of the United Kingdom - Queen Elizabeth - ascended to the throne, formally in 1953, more than half of the people polled believed that she was ordained by God. Back then,Winston Churchill was Premier, the British empire was on its last legs; India had been granted independence and partitioned - East and West Pakistan had been carved out from within and homosexuality and abortion were still illegal and the race relations act was very much an abstraction.

Minimum Wage and Unemployment
Lately, certain business owners have been complaining that they are unable to fill open jobs at their businesses because unemployed workers get more money from unemployment compensation than what these would-be employers can pay. What the hell is wrong with these so-called business owners? Have they obviously have no business sense and lack any sense of morality and compassions for their fellow human beings. If they can’t pay more money and offer better benefits to employees than unemployment compensation they should immediately look into the cause. Consider the following, Business Owners:

I’m Race-Fluid and was Cancelled for it
I’m race-fluid and don’t really consider myself any race. It’s an interesting experience being race-fluid in a world that is so polarized by racial politics. But I can’t change who I am, and don’t think anyone who is race-fluid or transracial should have to change who they are. Unfortunately certain communities disagree.

Return to "Normalcy:" An Original Podcast Script
This is a script I wrote for potential inclusion in the podcast series "A Moment of Your Time." It's a fantastic podcast with incredibly short episodes where writers, artists, and storytellers show off what they can do, and you should definitely check out the show. I actually entered twice, also submitting an original song, but I never received a response back from the show. Because of this, I wanted to publish the script I wrote for the show here. I've edited it for clarity, but the points are the same. I really hope you enjoy it.

5 Pandemic Changes we ought to keep (and 3 that need to end immediately)
COVID-19 is not the only disease out there in the world. Even as vaccines bring the pandemic under control (but it is not over) that doesn’t mean that we should aim to get everything back to the way it was in 2019. Even though this last year has been defined by illness, its been one of health for me. This last year I haven’t had a cold once, I’ve never gone that long without one. That was kind of nice, maybe we shouldn’t give up all of our social distancing measures. Here’s some changes that should stay:
