California's Best Shopping Spots for Summer
Having grown up in California practically my whole life, I’ve learned a thing or two about some great shopping spots to visit during the summers. With social distancing rules and so many retail stores in malls shutting down now, however, it may seem that shopping online is slowly becoming the only option, but I have hope for the future of retail. After all, there is a huge population out there that wants to see and feel items before spending hard earned money on it. Too, if you step out and practice caution—wear a mask and distance yourself from others--it isn’t a sin to go shopping. Sound like something you’d like to do? Well, whether you’re just visiting California or else are a resident looking for new things to do, I think it’s really important to know which so called “hot spots” are actually worth the hype. Here are a few shopping locations I suggest for those spending their summers in California, along with some outfit-inspo to go with each!

Guardian Angel jewelry
Guardian Angel Jewelry The concept of the “Guardian Angel” is not exclusive to religious people. In Western culture, anybody who guides and protects you from harm is considered or seen as a ‘Guardian Angel’. Quite a few religions believe that each person is assigned his or her own Guardian Angel who watches over and prays on the person’s behalf.

Further, various other connotations were attached to jewelry wearers, and the industry was one which depended upon the demand for women.

Money Can't Buy Self-Love
When I started selling luxury accessories at Barneys, I was immediately self-conscious. I sheepishly displayed belts that cost more than my rent and tried to smile through comments about what a “good deal” a thousand-dollar purse was. How could I convince customers to trust me when their dogs sported more expensive raincoats than I wore? I was a pre-makeover Anne Hathaway, but with no hope of Stanley Tucci saving me with a pair of Chanel boots.

I Sold Clothes on Depop For 30 Days. Top Story - July 2020.
A month ago, my sister introduced me to the world of online thrift shopping. She had become obsessed with live auctions on Instagram and would go on and on about how much these people were making off such a small investment. It had me wondering how long did it take for these people to make a career out of selling thrifted clothing online. Some of them make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. And while that is extremely few and far between, many others have made this their main (or only) income source. So, with a $40 investment at Goodwill and a trash bag of old clothes, I decided to give it a shot. I am by no means an Instagram live auctioneer and have already tried my hand on Etsy a time or two, so Depop seemed to be the obvious route.
