Some Army Connections
Introduction In the post at the end of this, I initially thought I had covered every Vocal Community with my writing but there were six that I had not touched, so I thought it would be a challenge to, so to speak, complete the set.

Soaring Power Prices Brings On Economic Jeopardy , as All Hell Break Loose
Everything the United States and its allies have done since Russia launched his “special military ops ” in Ukraine has only made things worse. Despite Russian and Ukrainian efforts to resolve the conflict through the transfer of weapons, the conflict has continued. Western leaders and their Russian counterparts could not afford to look foolish ,at the expense of their citizens

Who was Charles Jackson French?
Charles French is a World War II hero you will hear very little about. The reason why is about as obvious as the reflection from a mirror. In September 1942, Charles was pulling a life raft with fifteen injured sailors around his waist. He swam for six to eight hours. Now imagine doing that in shark infested waters, oh by the way the Japanese are trying to kill you and oh you have to deal with racism as well.

What People Really Mean When They Say Thank You for Your Service
On Veterans Day and Memorial Day, you hear it a lot. Your Facebook friends post pictures of themselves and their relatives in military uniforms, and the comments frequently include the phrase, “Thank you for your service.” It’s become the “have a nice day” of the new millennium. The number of people who sincerely mean it is questionable.

The First Pass Among Innovators
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - As one of the 75th Innovation Command's leading group of innovators, the Soldiers of Mountain View Group are no strangers to be first to invent, discover or accomplish something revolutionary. Americans Need to Stop Saying Thank You for Your Service
Photo by Billie Grace Ward I’ve met, and more importantly, interviewed quite a few soldiers and veterans in my career. As such, I’ve never said, “thank you for your service.” Oh my, I must be some kind of serious asshole. I’m not, I just can’t bring myself to say it, because as I will explain, the words don’t ring true. Of course, I do feel awful for the omission. But do I have a better idea, and even if I lag behind in my own recommendation, I have arrived at a send off that has me grateful for being able to say it with true sincerity

When I Joined The Army
Then I heard my mother crying and begging me to change my mind, stay there for a few years and go to the local community college. The look on my father’s face was a combination of pride, concern, and gloom. My mother again begged me to change my mind. When I said I would not, my decision was made. If they did not sign the papers allowing me to join, then I would wait until I was 18 and do it myself. My mother then left the table crying. That was the last time she spoke to me for nearly two weeks and the worst dinner we had ever had as a family.

Best way to join the army
You may not be able to afford to join the military, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t join the military. If you want to join the military, but don’t have the financial means to, there are still ways that you can. There are plenty of programs out there that will help you to get in on the military action without having to pay a large up-front cost. They may not have the glamour of being in the Special Forces, but they can have their own rewards.
