Flying service horses...
Ok, so let me start this article off with some background. Some entity has been denying me my service horse. After getting a lawyer involved, this entity is citing non-specific safety concerns about Aurora walking with me. Yet, I am more than welcome to have her with me. Just without her walking.

When, Why And How Alcohol Snared Me
The when. My when was early. Far too early. One afternoon, when I was fourteen, I sneaked into woodland with a school friend and some cans of Guinness. It was the eighties. In Britain, kids could buy booze easily. Shopkeepers and landlords would take your pocket money and casually turn a blind eye.

Atychiphobia
Kristen Dutton’s article, Achievemephobia, inspired this piece. I’m afraid. And this fear has only led me to continual social alienation, causing me to be the least involved in public life as I write this. A self-induced ‘social distancing,’ if you will.

Emetophobia
Emetophobia: Extreme fear of vomiting I wouldn't wish this phobia on anyone. At a young age I developed a phobia of throwing up. As a young kid, you can find it to be a pretty common thing that kids do. Sleeping Through Thanksgiving. First Place in Holiday Hijinks Challenge.
The prompt reads: "Write a personal narrative story about a holiday gathering gone wrong." I don't have a story that fits the prompt exactly, but the prompt got me thinking. (And that's great! That's what prompts are for. It's just weird that "non-fiction family gathering" inspires me more than "a story at an aquarium".) I don't have a unified narrative for you with a beginning, middle, end and a life lesson. I'm not thinking about hijinks and silver linings. I'm just thinking about me.
