The success of BTS
Once upon a time in the vibrant city of Seoul, South Korea, there were seven talented and ambitious young men named Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They were brought together by their shared passion for music and their dreams of making a difference in the world through their art. Little did they know that their journey would take them to unimaginable heights, as they would become one of the most successful and influential music groups in the world—BTS. The story of BTS began in 2013 when the group debuted under the entertainment company Big Hit Entertainment, now known as HYBE Corporation. Despite facing initial challenges and skepticism from the industry, BTS was determined to carve their own path and break free from the conventional norms of K-pop. They poured their hearts and souls into their music, writing lyrics that were honest, relatable, and spoke directly to the struggles and aspirations of their generation. Their hard work and dedication paid off when BTS released their breakthrough single, "No More Dream," which instantly captured the attention of both domestic and international audiences. From that moment on, their popularity skyrocketed, and they became a sensation worldwide. But BTS didn't stop there; they used their newfound fame as a platform to address social issues such as mental health, self-love, and the pursuit of one's dreams. Over the years, BTS shattered numerous records and received accolades that solidified their status as global icons. They became the first Korean act to top the Billboard 200 chart with their album "Love Yourself: Tear" and the first Korean act to win a Billboard Music Award. Their positive impact extended to the business world as well, with BTS being recognized as one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2019. They constantly expressed their love and appreciation for the ARMY, acknowledging their role in their journey and recognizing that it was their unwavering support that made their dreams come true. As time went on, BTS continued to evolve and explore new artistic horizons. Each member pursued solo endeavors, including acting, producing, and composing music, while always returning to their roots as a group. My evolution
Growing up in a small midwestern farm town was not all it is cracked up to be. Being “different” was never an option in a one-race, right-sided, religious community. This made life difficult as I had no direction and no idea how to discover myself. I just wanted to be me but who was that? I eventually ran off at 16 and went to California, wow was I in for a shock. Until then the word gay had only been seen as a hate word in my world, so you can imagine how I felt seeing the first Gay-Mart! I had no idea what any of the terms used in the community meant, I was lost and full of hormones.

The March of Price: My Journey to Self-Discovery
I remember my first pride march vividly. A sea of colors splashed against the gray cityscape, a technicolor heartbeat thumping out the rhythm of acceptance and love. But I wasn't part of the vibrant rainbow; instead, I was a spectator, a young man trapped on the sidelines of his own life.
