Interview with Cannabis Cultivator and Chemist Edward Rupert
Despite having worked in the marijuana industry decades before it was fashionable (or partially domestically legal), you would be hard pressed to find an individual more antithetical to the old-school stoner stereotype than California chemist Edward Rupert.

Best Greco-Roman Action Films to Watch Stoned
There are several movies, stoned or otherwise, that everyone just loves to watch--and Greco-Roman films, while maybe not the first choice for your action film viewing pleasure, remain some of the coolest, hyper-masculine movies to watch. Who hasn't woken up with that vague dream of confronting legions of soldiers with nothing but a gladius, your shield, and the brothers-in-arms at your side?

Author Believes Marijuana Legalization Should Proceed Carefully
Marijuana legalization can engender an image of the drug’s laid back disciples who will tend their little plots around daily smokes circles, while lamenting the loss of the counterculture. Then waiting to exhale just after 4:20 p.m. every day, plenty of time shall be left to bag their haul to a local retailer who’s eager to dispense peace and contentment, as both remember to stick it to the man for old time’s sake. That is just one of the marijuana myths author Kevin Sabet was trying to dispel for students, staff and law enforcement this Thursday at Fox Lane High School as the nation seems poised to enact a retail sale legalization of marijuana.

Best Stoner Reggae Songs
When it comes to stoners, one stereotype is that they love reggae. Perhaps that's just because there is nothing better to listen to while high than a good reggae song. The rhythm is enough to pull you into another world filled with beautiful songs—yet all of them are familiar sounding enough to sometimes trick outsiders into thinking they're all cut from the same cloth. All fairly similar.

Healthiest Ways to Smoke Weed
I love weed. Smoking a delicious blunt of Cannabis Cup ganja is my idea of a great beginning to a night out. I love the sweet taste it gives, the sudden onset of mellow vibes, and the many, many nights at Taco Bell all those joints have sparked.

Many leading successful entrepreneurs--the multi-millionaires whose books and seminars people pay a ton of money for--all say you should get paid to do what you enjoy so your money works for you instead of you working for money. In this spirit, I work a great side gig as a nightclub party host on the Las Vegas Strip.

Differences Between Eating and Smoking Weed
Have you ever wondered "What are the differences between eating and smoking weed?" Everyone knows that weed gets you high. However, with the recent sweeping changes in marijuana laws in different parts of the country, more attention is being drawn to different ways of consuming weed. While things like cannabis tinctures and vaping have gotten a lot of play, another consumption method has also been getting more attention: edibles. Cannabis edibles are foods prepared with oils infused with THC extracted from cannabis. They will certainly get you high, but what are the differences between eating and smoking marijuana?

Interview with James Thomas of Silver Stem Fine Cannabis
Why Cannabis? I have always felt Cannabis was unfairly condemned by the government as well as liquor and pharmaceutical industry lobbyists. After all, this is just a plant we are talking about. We are passionate about being part of the movement to give communities safe access to one of the greatest natural healing products available.

Who Was Fitz Hugh Ludlow?
I was never particularly interested in 19th-century literature. There were so many things our English teachers didn't tell us, especially when it came to the counterculture underground books of the Victorian era. They never mentioned that Charles Dickens, for instance, wrote his last novel stoned. Several key scenes in The Mystery of Edwin Drood were set in an opium den and hash lounge. Or they'd ramble on and on about John Greenleaf Whittier's "Snowbound," never mentioning his interesting little poem "The Haschich." Sometimes we'd get maybe an hour of English class devoted to an excerpt from Thomas De Quincey's Confessions of an English Opium Eater (1822), because it was the first great English drug tale and influenced all the Romantic writers. But we never heard about, America's first great drug writer, Fitz Hugh Ludlow.
