About the Creator

Kristen Balyeat

Words fly to me on the wind, bump into me as I'm strolling the city, splash me in the face while I rest by the river, and shake me awake in the middle of the night—I’m humbly one of the vessels they use to come to life.

Also, i love you:)

Dear Ms. Kristen - Thanks for the 'Yummy' Nosh - - You Give me the Munchies - J-Bud

  • Ah, the taste of love. May the two of you continue to cook the entire menu for the rest of your lives.

I had such a smile on my face reading this, then it got a bit raunchy! 😅 Then I read Dharrsheena’s comment that she became hungry 😂 so maybe I read it all wrong! Regardless, very fun and creative.

  • Awww, this was so adorable and sweet! Such a lovely poem! And it made me hungry too, lol!

Loved this! You really delivered with this one, how love completes and compliments. I love every line.

  • Super cute. Your poem certainly satisfied the title and subtitle. Totally delish!

How clever of you to stick 'rita in there. This is going to be an interesting challenge. You pulled it off nicely, Kristen. And I can't wait to have some pale ale with my fried fish tonight. 💖

Brilliant and charming! I agree with Mohammed; "coke of my cola" was a great tongue in cheek reference.

Great poem, Kristen! Caught a glimpse of Naomi's comment. What about 'thaw'? Why frost?😉

Kinda made me hungry here 😭.. I like how you were talking about two different loves here 🤔. I have to admit, I chuckled when I read "coke of my cola" (because of the original recipe) but it is a powerful statement considering the topic of this poem 🤣

  • I love this fun, clever, lighthearted side of you!!! Great work!!!

This is adorable! I love the concept, how well executed it is, and the image you chose. Only thing I’d point out… frost is 5 letters.
