A few things that make me think I’m ok, to the tune of: What I like about you
*
What I like about......me??? Ughhhh..
I don’t get uptight, tell me I’m the only one, never getn’ sleep a night, yeah! Worries whispering in my ear, writing all the things that you wanna hear, it’s freeing- that’s what I like about me.
Another thing about me, though I don’t know how to dance. I’m pretty active for my age, still able to fasten my pants, yeah! Happy thoughts appear all the rage, changing up my mood like I was a mage, ain’t that sweet, that’s what I like about me.
I keep improving year to year, what once was really hard is finally clear, yeah I’m free, that’s what I like about me.
That’s what I like about me, yeahowwww
What I like about me, I’m good at gardening. Flowers growing in the dirt, brightening up the scenery. Yeah - Bees keep buzzing in my ear, sharing fresh cut flowers, bringing cheer, all for free, that’s what I like about me
Another thing about me, I think that I’m funny, throwing sarcasm like that, anything to make you laugh, makes me glad that you’re happy, that’s what I like about me.
(Whispering) I’m learning how to like me, yeah - I’m glad that I like me, I hope that you like me too
Wow, why is it we all seem to struggle with this one?
I mean, when did we go from fearless, self absorbing kids who needed to be reminded to think of others - to these zombie-esk creatures who are now afraid of their own reflections? Or is that just me?

Seriously, I have come a long way realizing that I am worthy of liking myself.
It’s so important to take a long look in the mirror and like who and what you are, always finding ways to be a better version of yourself.

We like you, too, Kelli. Even more than the song (which we think is great)! But I hear ya. It's difficult to give voice to things we actually like about ourselves.
This was so nice! 💕 Meanwhile, I doubt at this point I’ll join this challenge. I don’t seem to be in the right mood.
