To Hell And Back

Man I'm so different,

Its so refreshing,

And most definitely a blessing,

Times were hard and a lot of stressing,

But I've been made a man from all my trials and struggles,

My heart is my strongest muscle,

Because I use it in everything I do,

I'm aligned with truth, my testimony is living proof,

Stating facts you can double down on that,

Died a few times and I've been to hell and back,

Best believe that, that $h!t was whack,

Void of all life giving light,

But the absence of God was what instilled the fright,

I was wrought with terror,

I knew I lived there for living a life of error,

But I cried oh I cried, dear God deliver me from this place,

But I found no peace in this space,

Then I was bound by a demon who had two black holes for eyes on his face,

Then in his arrogance he claimed his strength,

And told me I couldn't refute it,

I said that may be so but with all of my soul,

I said no matter your strength you will never be right,

Being aligned with truth was my weapon and might,

Woke up on a hospital bed in a room full of light,

Nurses and doctors operating all night,

But I knew they were angels,

Ever since then I looked at life with a different angle,

Disconnected all that from which I was entangled,

Then I began my journey on that narrow path,

Known a lot of pain but for that I'm thankful.
