Light gathers on the wall as if the day itself is whispering a secret.
A small girl stands barefoot on the wooden floor, her dress breathing around her like a soft cloud, and above her rises a silhouette too tall to belong to her world. The shadow-woman, carved in gold and dusk, leans toward her with hair that moves like time caught in mid-shiver.
The child doesn’t step back. She lifts her chin, as if some instinct buried deep in her bones recognizes the figure before her. Not a ghost. Not an angel. But the future—the woman she might become, the strength she hasn’t grown into, the storms she will survive.
The shadow is her promise:
that one day she will be vast,
one day she will be unbreakable,
one day the world will not frighten her the way it does now.
For a breathless heartbeat, the girl and her future self face each other across the veil of time,
and the universe seems to pause,
awed by the quiet courage of a child who dares to look forward.
