Hear Me Roar
Listen, you can say what you want about me just as long as you don’t get on this here poetry. Can you feel these words addictive like crack? Heroin to your veins, actually heroin to your brains? These words that fill my soul when all else fails, that move my blindness from Braille. I wield the mightiest sword known to man...the steel? No the pen or the pencil, like the edge of shut doors and window sills, like picture stills.
